GOYARD: Why it's too expensive & overhyped?

Goyard is a French luxury brand known for its high-end luggage, handbags, and accessories. It has been in the public spotlight for a while and many of your favorite celebrities use Goyard bags. And many people, who are crazy fans of the celebrities, will mindlessly spend thousands of dollars just to look like them and have a lifestyle like them, even though, they are broke as hell! So the real question is, Why are people so over hyped about Goyard? and Why people spend so much money for this plastic coated fabric bag?

I have many designer bags and I’m not broke. Please stop being small minded. Some people treat themselves to luxury items like others treat themselves to vacations. My first Goyard tote was gifted to me as a graduation gift and 8 years later I sold it for the same amount it retailed for; including wear and tear. So yes, most Goyard pieces are actual investments and last a lifetime. Thank you next!
