If you pay close attention, the key of the song is not revealed until the final cadence. This is a great tune with reference to the "Tito Puente Orchestra" style. The concert key of this song is "C" but Bb is used extensively giving you the feel of a major scale with a "flat 7th" as in the Mixolydian Modal Scale. His use of chromatic harmonies also enhances the modal scale.
