I think the jib leach line could be a bit tighter to eliminate the leach flutter especially close hauled. Capt John

There were a few rigging issues that day. Long since been rectified though now ;)

Good to see for the first time, sailing a GP14 from inside the cockpit. It all looked calm and relatively simple. Pray what was the wind in mph and is it normal for the lee shroud to go slightly slack and what is the shroud protection for/and made of. Thanks.

Hi, leeward shroud was slack wasn't it! It wasn't intentional. If you'd kown what had accurred an hour before I rigged the boat I'm sure I'd be forgiven for doing what appeared to be a rushed job. The shroud protectors are actually there to stop the knot in the genoa sheets from catching on the wire. I have used overflow pipe (pvc) which allows them to rotate when the knot hits them and the knot does not ever get caught on the wire anymore. If I remember correctly the wind in the afternoon was top end of an F3, so approx 10 - 11 mph

Some talking would be nice your talking to each other and pointing things out but leaving the viewer out of what’s going on would have enjoyed the video much more with interaction thanks . Roger K.
