I also have predicted 5 wins total in conference. Not to be a negative nelly, but where are we realistically going to get wins? Schedule is brutal IF TCU was too big of a mountain to climb.

@@chadseuser2766 There's 4 "should wins" at home and ZERO "should wins" on the road. I think 5-15 is a realistic prediction, and anyone predicting better than that should be required to show their work, where they predict we'll get any extra wins.

I didn’t want to make this comparison, but are we destined for another Ron Prince type tenure? I think Jerome Tang is a way better coach than prince but this kind of has that air to it at the moment. Great run first year, NIT 1st round loss next year, and I’m not very optimistic on anything this year.

It appears that someone from the mbb program must have put a 'shot over the bow' of the media, as all of you are 'reeling back' the criticism in the last day or so. Listen, I am NOT out to push the team or coaches face in the mud, but I was SOOOO looking forward to this season, it is just immensely disappointing. We are far enough in, and we are not seeing 'consistent' play (for whatever the reason). How many more games do they need to gel? Respectfully, it seems like the season is lost. Yes, there is a chance they could turn things around, but being realistic with ourselves, those chances are NOT very high. Accountability is a tough pill to swallow I guess..........

maybe 5-10 years ago this family talk and supporting the teams no matter what was easy. but today you have players come to KSU for a few months get a lot of money and are gone. hard to support that . and last year Tang had a team that Bruce left great player and some culture for him . who cares what people say on twitter/social media it could be anyone posting garbage just to get a reaction.

Well said fitz. Twitter has turned into a gathering of hate and negativity from many Kstate fans. Everyone has an opinion and unfortunately they think they have to share it

I know this is a basketball DD, but..... Think back a few years ago. K-State had a QB coming into his Jr season and many were concerned. That QB made hugh improvements his Jr year. That same QB is today preparing for his next game in the college football playoffs. Good Luck Will Howard! This next season will be Avey's Jr. season. I'm hopefully K-State fans will be very happy this time next year!

I’m not sure the Okie State game is a “big one”. This team with a win is at best .500 with no tournament bid. They aren’t good enough to expect a 12-8 type conference record.

Hmmm, K-State fans are as vulnerable to human frailties as many other fans. Let’s have reasonable expectations of our teams and ourselves. Let’s reach up to those standards as fans in hopes we help our teams do the same. Go Cats fans! Go Cats!
