Meh. Coach speak. You have to give Houston their due. Fundamentally we got pushed around up front on a muddy field in our run game. Dropped a couple passes, missed some cuts, offense just was a beat off. What's why you play the game. The issue was not putting this thing away earlier. You play one score games? You lose some one score games...

"Riles" is going to be your downfall. Klieman needs to do right by Wells and Riley by demoting Riley back to where he belongs as the O-line coach. He is elite at that, but he is drowning as an OC.

The constant statue of liberty look on every snap of the ball, waste those split seconds necessary to be looking downfield to make a play. Avery is looking for the sidelines and giving up 4-5 more yards. I assume there is no other QB in that locker room that can push the young man to get better or more aggressive. Seems like all the real good teams have a running QB willing to get it done.
