Awesome work, videos from start to finish excellent. I have a question, not sure if anyone has asked you before, but have you ever tried replicating a SC PROJECT EXHAUST, AUSTIN RACING EXHAUST, RACEFIT EXHAUST? i believe with your talent and skills you can get real close to those high end exhausts . This exhaust your making really looks badass,like a GP PRO EXHAUST you could see on the circuit. Maybe youll have a video one day showing you making one of those exhausts i qas mentioning, would be good to see that .

Thank you. I thought about it. It can be copied, I just need to make a tool for the end caps. I think in the coming months it will be done and of course there will be a video.

What would happen if the holes in the perforated sheet were big? (Something like 10/15mm) Because I'm thinking that it would have better sound but the packing wouldn't last that long
@GPGarage12 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it, but I thought there wouldn't be a noticeable difference, just that the pack wouldn't last long as you mentioned. The diameter and length of the perforated tube have a bigger effect than the diameter of the holes
@martisticmartin2 жыл бұрын
@@GPGarage1 Thanks, so bigger tube diameter = better tone?
@GPGarage12 жыл бұрын
It's not that easy. Let's say like this, the larger the diameter of the perforated tube, the deeper the tone. It also depends on the diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes.

@GPGarage1 Hey great video, does the perforated screen deaden sounds at all? I make some custom mufflers and they are super loud, looking for ways to lessen the sound, I have tried the packing stuff and it didn't make any difference, any advice would be much appreciated

Gauge is probably a bit thick but it looks pretty damn professional to me
@GPGarage12 жыл бұрын
Yes, the pipes are thicker than they should be. If I were buying material for the muffler, I would definitely take a thinner one.

how when need change the glasswool? maybe you can make it changeable glasswool? by the way, thats nice job dude!
@GPGarage12 жыл бұрын
Thanks. In this case nothing without cutting one cap, changing the wool and rewelding, but this is ceramic wool and it will last a long time. I made one with removable caps. ioutu.be/BKvkIKd0FaI

How thick is the stainless
@GPGarage1 Жыл бұрын
Hi, If I remember correctly, muffler case is 2mm and other is 1.5mm, but there is no need for such thick material, 1mm or 1.2mm is enough.

Is the ceramic wool necessary?
@GPGarage17 ай бұрын
You can use fiberglass. The best way is, first stainless steel wool, then fiberglass or ceramic wool.

Does there have to be a sheet with holes on the inside? Can it just be a pipe? Mechanically speaking in terms of safe for the bike. I don’t care much about legality. Just don’t want to hurt my bike.

Amigo que espesor usas de chapas? El exterior es un tubo o chapa soldada por usted? Gracias de antemano saludos desde España
@GPGarage1 Жыл бұрын
I use pipes because I don't have anything to bend sheet metal with. Sheet metal and pipes are 2 mm, because I make this from waste material, and if I were to buy it, I would not go over 1-1.2 mm thick.
@makyplay1595 Жыл бұрын
@@GPGarage1 muchas gracias amigo,veo todos tus videos,quieres decir que si tuvieras curvadora de chapa lo harías mejor con chapa en ves de con tubos verdad? Daria menos peso a la moto,con 1mm de espesor lo ves bien?
@GPGarage1 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it's hard to find a pipe, for example fi 110 1mm thick, and with a sheet metal bender you have more options for diameter of the muffler.
