the kick on this one is so different... it's like very narrowed down to the low mids. There isn't much subs or very lows, and I think the whole top half is cut off. Idk why it works so well dilla was a genius edit: why is he so light skinned in this picture lmao

The little piano key at the end reminds me of NY State of Mind Pt 2 for some strange reason. And a bit of NY State of Mind the original version, when the hook hits all I can hear is Nas' voice saying "Momma shoulda cuffed me to the radiator, why not, prolly woulda saved me from my block"
