He wouldn’t want you to be like him, he would want you to create your own style. But I can’t even front, sometimes I remake some of his beats just to see what he felt while making them

The best go away so we can admire them more. I did a paper on TTP back in 2016 and the chance of Dilla having it was around 0.01% out of the entire world population because its mainly common in women and people of African descent. Really proves how cruel life can be but it also shines how much we can appreciate Dilla's short life or work.

Lost, could never find the pieces Never minded what the thesis was Release of grudges, Over friends you simply seek for comfort Over ends, see clearer, through the crystal, now when the needle draws blood, it's almost parallel to pistols Never speak from trends, I remain i, eyes can see my spits the same Never curse, momma said save those words for shit for brains So I switched the frame, maybe, had a baby, lost my tame for nonsense, though I spit from out my conscience I think we conscientious, but opportunity comes and knocks And then the monster enters.. A long December, when dilla left us donuts And what remains, your treasure Took the world a while to notice You was there, in the shadows straight manipulating Average assholes, turned opponents Bandersnatched in fact the world Grasped it with a band of cats Who couldn’t take the balance act So now our habitats, broken homes Translations lost from broken phones Some wires crossed cost me dire losses So as the fire tosses Get my mind exhausted overthinking

Uh, this is my attempt. Had to go and learn bout the pad and pen. Every bar I write is immaculate. Why you go ahead call the ambulance? No, we don’t do no accidents. Every shot I take is always accurate. Had to go ahead and achieve maximum. Uh, this is my attempt. No second best, Better yet I be the master piece. You come alone? Sitting better with me. I’m mister “Winner With Ease” W.W.E Wonder who eating for free? No it never was me. I know the reason they leave. They cannot see my reflection. My vision and my direction. I’m in a whole different section. Not to say that I am better, but I am driven, and giving it all. Take nothing back because I’m seeing a future I hold. Saying long live me. We can get along if you smoke this weed.

@John Reder there is confirmed 3 tapes from 1996. One is the 1996 What Up Doe sessions and there are 2 others. Ive heard snippets from the man KingEversProduction but also some of the beats from the two 96 tapes are on Dillas Delights. I think DD.004 and DD.022 are the ones.
