Kamishiki Buffs - Just make shigan barrage an extender, this thing is supposed to be on par with abyssal karate and sulong but a high damage extender is too much??? -Maybe do something with absolute tekkai, I understand the dash part is just a gimmick but its not really viable at all. Maybe make it so you can move while tekkaied with a LOT of stam drain if you're moving? Hate to look at abyssal again, but compare this move to diving tides in terms of defensive usefullness - I really like the way the counter feels and it's fun to use, don't make it just be a combo starting counter like all the rest. Instead maybe increase the damage a bit and/or make it do way more damage if you hit them into a wall - Does true rokuogan need a 5 minute cooldown? The same as galaxy impact and (iirc) sea quake? Even taking br into account I don't think so. (On a side note, i'd like to point out that gold's ult has a *6* minute cooldown in arena. Because... uhhh...)

i don’t really think it’s supposed to be on par with abyssal and moonlit considering those are locked behind 5% races and anyone can get kamishiki lol. it can be somewhat relative but the other two are still gonna be better

@ I always thought that was a strange outlook, tbh. Race rerolls are handed out like candy and, as far as pvp is concerned, i'd say electro and (before this update) fishman v1 were way better than cyborg and completely outshined their fellow 5% in vampire. With how easy it is to get whatever race you want, I think race exclusive fighting styles being better is a kind of dated old gpo thing. I see where you're coming from, though.

Shigan barrage combo extender I agree with. WIth absolute tekkai, it is gimmicky but I don't think the dash part needs to be changed at all. I think what they should change is they should make the start up almost instant, making it like a secondary block with a long cooldown. So like if you see someone using a guard break you think you can't pb, you can switch it out with that so that its defensive utility is really put in the spotlight. Literally just a safer pb option/second counter. As for the actual counter, I think its perfectly fine really. I like the idea of it having more use cases against a wall, but I feel like its just a tad bit niche which isn't what I think Kamishiki needs right now. It just needs consistency. I can understand wanting a buff for it though since in comparison to literally half the other counters in the game, its kind of buns. Besides those changes the only thing id want more for kamishiki is being able to use a fruit with it. I dont see why we would be restricted since kamishiki is literally used in tandem with devil fruits in one piece, and it would also solve some issues with the lack of utility in its base kit.

@ I like your idea for absolute tekkai. I wasn't saying to remove the dash but add the movement as an extra part of it because trying to hit the dash is just like "Hey man, can you come over to me in a straight line while not blocking PLEASE..." Only thing I'd be scared of is that it being almost instant would probably turn it into a combo extender which then everyone would just use it for that instead of your intended purpose. Maybe make it so the dash is only usable if you're already blocked a hit with it or something to prevent that but keep the instant windup as for it to not be a combo tool. The counter already dazes if you launch them into a wall so I thought going all in on knocking them into a wall being the situational but preferred option would give it a bit of uniqueness. A small damage buff for the counter overall mightve just been a personal want on my part, tbh.

For me Id say kamishiki is more like a dueling V2 where as you just use m1s and combos while using tekkai as a stalling move so you can regen hp. What it lacks is more damaging moves or rather more impactful moves.

I think Kamishiki has a lot of potential on a future rework, and its because i think Kamishiki would work as a Techfull Fs, just like Fishman is, the way it is now it can already work on this tech side, like, it have a damn insta TP, the ammount of options you can have with this is insane, but the rest of the moves are lacking in that regard, shigan barrage needs a full rework (No one liked this move, let's be fr, basic Shigan is way better to hit and use in general). Rankakyu already got a solid base, but instead of a stupid chargeable move, an extender when used with a perfect tp would be insane. For the Tp, i think making it a more solid move with less cooldown would be great, for the last, Tekai, it needs a hard buff, when we compare it to Diving Tides, defense vs defense, its not even fair...

kami is crazy strong you just have to be crazy aggressive with it, and higher stat dumps into str is better. if you know how to put pressure without letting them breathe, it’s op. also i’d say this is a big nerf overall because baiting m1s then charging the Z to damage trade was really good with kami.

@@akoya1005 Inf combos is braindead but I wouldn’t say spammy. When I said spammy stuff, I’m referring to fighting styles, fruits or weapons that are extremely good off neutral. For example, sharkmen’s combo extender can also be used raw and not really be punished. Same can be said about it’s t and r move. Same thing with mink
