Yoru got nerfed already tho? Thousand slashes punishes you heavily if you miss and it doesnt even extend when you land it, the nightfall slash is blockable and does nothing but by time or distance close, the counter is just like any other counter, and world's strongest slash is just asking to be countered. Yoru is not that broken compared to ace, they were both nerfed properly.

No it shouldnt 😭 after the nerfs its worse than yoru, its already been in the game for a while as crew rewards, easier droprates, and the boss spawns more frequently

@eein8444 it still is way too low. The Nerf made the E not guard break, but it doesn't matter since it still extends. It's a sword with 4 fricking moves that alone makes it very good. That it was already in the game as crew rewards does not influence the value at all because it got wiped from everyone after prestige yoru replaced it anyway. Now yes, Ace is definitely easier to get as a drop than yoru but it's still WAY too low.

I'd say some other top tiers might be equal now just based off of ease of use or much stronger m1s but the people who are saying ace is ""gutted"" probably also think yoru is op and tori is balanced...

Ace is far from the best sword. It deals high damage but has zero extenders, same for Yoru, I'd say the best weapon rn is Kikoku (with Ope for all four moves and Shambles which makes X an extender if you movestack) since it literally has three extenders while other swords have two at most

@@Criscuitt I'm completely unsure about divine departure with uptilt but final retort is 100% an extend when done right, keep in mind this update gave both of those moves more stun. Ope Kikoku is objectively the best sword but is it really fair to rank it like that? Kikoku on its own is still one of the best and i'd say on par with Ace because it makes up for a lack of tools with consistency and incredible m1s.

@@betergriffin1323 The thing is now that final retort is blockable, it's not a true extender and can be blocked if the enemy has good ping. Divine departure also isn't true because your m1s take too long to reset after using the move, Ace has extenders but they're inconsistent and none of them are guaranteed
