also a lesser known thing unless it's a bug the ancor has the built in haki effect like tori so it can hit logia's if you didn't find haki yet

Same for Jitte. In the anime Jitte is known to have seastone infused into the end of it which is why Smoker could hit Luffy with it and negate his rubbery body. Since Anchor is a weapon you fish for and it has water effects, I'd say thats probably why it's possible.
