I also bought a RTX 3070 cause I had a 9 year old AMD R9 290X. But I'm a bit worried about bottlenecks now. Cause my CPU is a 1st Gen 8 core Ryzen 1700 @ 3.9GHz OC with 48GB RAM @ 2933MHz. So I just hope the 3070 won't be too bottlenecked by the Ryzen 1700. I'll see after I reinstall Windows. Fingers crossed it will be a decent experience.

Probably buying my new card in may after I built my first PC Nov 2020 with a R9 380 as a "temporary placeholder" yeah right. Not gonna buy a 40 series card because it will probably require a new PSU. but Since I game at 1440p it should be plenty for the next 2 years.

Yeah, but you're playing League of Legends then I take it. On 720p. I have a 1080 as well, and play on 1080p resolution, and sure I can get 150 fps in CS:GO. But in newer titles like BF2042 and Halo Infinite I'm lucky if I hit 70 fps, with frequent drops down to 40 fps. On the lowest settings. And every Warzone update since launch has cost me 5-10 fps, I'm down at a barely playable 60-70 fps now. Forget trying to game in 2K resolution lol

Atleast you have 1080, on the other hand there are few people still gaming on a Intel HD graphics PC, that means professional PC meant only for school/college/office work not for gaming but people do some gaming on them in the free time casually. 😐

Been stuck with a 1080 for many years now, it's doing its best to keep up with Warzone, Halo, Doom Eternal and Elden Ring on the lowest settings. It almost died during the BF2042 Beta xD

I'm still new to all of this but is a MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RTX 3060 Ti Gaming X 8G LHR a great graphics card to get? I know there are better ones out there, and I know the 40 series is coming out soon. But I've been thinking about getting that since the prices are affordable this time around. So is it worth it?
