Thanks for this, very interesting stuff! I never think of how lines were drawn with GPUs and I'm very impressed by the math behind it.

Thanks! I think the math behind drawing triangles is much more impressive though, considering the varied ways to draw them. The way 2D accelerators drew lines is a close second, especially since they could draw thicker lines and do things like line stipple patterns for CAD, which many 3D accelerators couldn't do directly.
