14:57 I feel like I'm the only person on the planet that didn't like BG3. I don't get it. Yeah, there's a lot of detail and stuff in the way the game tells stories and stuff, sure. I get it. But I felt so much like my character peaked so hard in terms of level and build so early that I burnt out before my partner and my friend ever did. They're still mad that I won't return to the game, and we still haven't beaten it. But having the tools to break a game and wanting to break the game just aren't the same. I wanted big numbers and elemental reaction combinations, and what I got was a bunch of contrived and "smart" ways to kill enemies rather than actually using my stats to accomplish anything, or even my gear, unless it was some spell I could use outside of spell slots. I dunno, man. Everyone has opinions and mine is obviously trash on this one, I know. But I can't love that game. It takes too damn long to get through encounters with even stupid, weak enemies. AND THE BOSSES, DEAR LORD SOMEONE SAVE ME from the digitized TAR that is boss fights. Tell me how to love that game, without telling me to look at a guide or watch some video on how to kill bosses in the cheapest, lamest way possible, please.

Sticker Star is a great game. Way, way better than Thousand Year Door. I said what I said. Chapter 2 renders TYD unplayable, and the start of Chapter 4 also sucks.

I love Barb levels. You're handed something incredible/fresh, then as you're about to beat the level/praise how incredible/fresh it was, he kicks you in the crotch, calls you a nerd, and you get sent back to the last CP do it all over again.

Remapping a SNES controller is a fairly simple hardware mod. I'm sure there are purists that scoff at the idea, but for most games I see it as simply an accessibility option. It can be controversial though, like the Hit Box and similar controllers for fighting games.

If you like Zelda 2 that much (which I don't disagree with. It's a way better game than people tend to realize. They mostly seem to dislike it just because it's so different), you might be interested in Ys 3: Wanderers From Ys for the SNES. It's fairly similar in a lot of ways though the final boss is extremely difficult. Took me and a friend like three months to finally beat it back in high school despite both of us being fairly good at sidescrolling Metroidvania-style platformers. The modern iteration of the series (Ys 6: Ark of Napishtim through Ys X: Whatever its subtitle was plus the remakes of Yses 1-4) are also fairly similar to more modern Zelda titles but more action-focused. Edit: Ah, right. I should probably specify that much like Zelda, you don't really need to play earlier games to play newer games too. With the exception of Yses 1, 2, and Origins (which are more like one game split across two cartridges and then a prequel to that game that you need to play the other two first to understand everything), the most you'd be missing out on in the other games is mostly just a couple references to other games or an occasional cameo by a character from an earlier game. The release order of the games actually isn't even the same as the in-universe chronology anyways. While Yses 1-3 do happen in order, for example, Ys 4 actually happens before Ys 1. (And between it and Origins chronologically.)

"Mario's missing" was my absolute favorite mario rpg game. I played that game for hours on end trying to figure out what do do and finally beat it as a kid. Yes i bought the game from this old store that used to sell snes games when i was a kid(im only 32). I highly recommend it if you like mario rpg games. Sure its not at the level of witcher 3 or cyberpunk but its still really fun
