Regarding tweezers and small components, particularly SMT caps and resistors, I've found even non ferrous tools can attract them, so possibly the attraction is due to static charge build up.

So, since you're right handed, how about you position the camera from the left side, or better, overhead? That would prevent people only seeing your hand or the tool you're using most of the time :D Demagnetizing your tweezers would also be a good idea I guess, but better would be to use ceramic tip ones :D
