GPX Legend 200 Review (English) - Should you buy one?

As the owner of this amazing bike, I want to defend the GPX. Maybe it's the love of having my first bike - but I have really loved this Legend 200. It certainly has its quirks, but I've been driving it for 4 years now and still love riding it. Maintenance is often ~ I was told when I bought it that lots of things on the bike will frequently 'rattle loose', and I've found that to be true. I have a great local mechanic - so most of the time the repairs are just a couple of hundred baht. The after-market carburetor has given me the most issues - but I learned to just keep the RPMs up when I come to a stop - and it seems like the most recent work on it may have done the trick! It didn't die when I came to a stop. Overall ~ it's a very economical bike - paid around 24,000 baht and it only had about 18,000 km on it. I'm partial to the bike - I love the bumble bee yellow and the vintage look. I would recommend the GPX Legend, with the caveat that repairs are needed more often than with other bikes.

Thanks for the review. An alternative for similar might be older Stallions 150. But IMHO, a more reliable and stable bike would be Kawasaki W175, although harder to find.

Great view! I have one myself, and indeed, as you mentioned, it broke a lot when it was new. However, I've been riding it for 5 years now (80,000 km), and it's still going strong. The spare parts seem to age quickly, as they rust easily. I think the build materials are of low quality.

Wow, nice! 80,000km! I’ll admit, the longer I’m riding this bike the more fun I’m having despite the long list of issues and quarks.
