Glad you enjoy the GPX, it's been top of my wish list for a 2 stroke. I rode one of their FSE300 four strokes a couple of years ago, it seemed to me that for the price the bike is hard to beat.

Nice review. I’m more familar with the TSE250R and was wondering about the initial reliability of the TSE300R. I would want to plate this bike in order to get to the trails without having to trailer it, so it’s nice to see GPX selling 2 strokes that have a dual sport kit so you can drive them to the trails if you want to. I love it. Has been awesome from the start. The only issue I had was with charging(covered in another vid). But that was probably my fault because of pressure washing it all the time.

Hi, can you please tell me what range you get from a full tank of fuel? Ive read they are pre mix and I do quite long rides around 70miles in the UK. So re fuelling might be an issue with it being pre mix. Cheers

@@spud139 I would say 70-80 miles would be doable. I ride a lot of single track/enduro and my average speed is around 10mph. I ride 4-5hrs a trip and can make two rides on a tank.

My friend brought one , 2 rides in the forks, started puking oil. He had to pay to get them fixed And they are not the same as a KTM fork on the inside so the guy working on them broke the caps they had to send new ones. The next ride, the clevis come loose from the foot break and fell off . The bike came already put together.

I hate to hear that. I’ve had really good luck out of mine. I did have to assemble it myself. However my forks were identical to a KTM 48mm. What size and model did your friend buy?

Its usually the power washer that pushes dirt into the fork seals

Agreed. However, in this case I believe it was manufacturer defect. I’m in a group with several other GPX owners and lots of people have had the left seal fail with very few rides.

What is the weight? And what’s the power output?

It’s around 270lbs-ish, but it’s so well balanced it feels like 100lbs. The engine is essentially a 2017 KTM 300 so power output is the same. Has tons of low end torque.

So is the tse300r street legal? I keep hearing their street legal and come with turn signals but I don’t see that on their website

It is not. They do sell the turn signal kits for many of their other models. I’m sure it would be easy to adapt. The bike has all the holes in the bars for the mirrors and so forth. Turn signal would be as simple as a harness. Not sure where you’re from, but I could easily tag it in bama with a little effort.

@@myslick10 okay, the turn signal part isn’t what I’m really worried about it’s more of getting the bike inspected to get the title changed from off-road to motorcycle… unless it already has motorcycle on it? If it did I could easily register it and not even worry about turn signals, horn, mirrors for now. Cops don’t really care here in Michigan just make sure you have a plate

@@smalltownrider5603 Unfortunately I'm not sure about that. Here in bama whether it's titled or not we can have it inspected and get one as long as it has all road legal items. I would have to dig out my title and see what it says.

I was told the MCO states MOTORCYCLE in the paperwork. Not off road use only or competition use only or any other negative things. As long as your state doesn’t do yearly inspections, should be a walk I the park. I’ve got mine ordered yesterday

@@smalltownrider5603 I forgot to mention I bought a 23 left over model TSE300L that’s being shipped getting parts ready and you’ll need to purchase a turn signal kit/horn and rear view mirrors and I believe a tag light for the license plate. They have a lot of cheap after market kits you can purchase.They don’t need much. They have headlight and brake lights already. If you buy a tse250r or one of the four stroke bikes, I believe they come with turn signals and maybe more so they come a little more prepared for the road from factory.

@@nicholasrobinson-g6f the rectifier/voltage regulator connector had corrosion on it. If you watch the Highland park video that says “we had issues” I talk more about it.
