Hey man it looks like your micky Thompson tyres grip up better than the Goodyear tyres on Tyler’s Gq even know one set are 37 an the other are 35. Iv been running flaken mts 35 for a year or so and a mate has nitto mts 37 and iv found the flaken mts hook up better in the rocks and mud then the nittos. 👍
@timmyhasheart7 күн бұрын
I love the Mickey’s mate, I had 4-5 sets of Razrs and they were the bees knees in my opinion, but then in the later sets I noticed a lot of people starting to do side walls, and side walls you can’t fix safely or legally so I went to the Mickey’s after seeing and hearing great things and they’re hands down the best tyre I’ve had.

Gonna be sad to see the GQ used less. Gbut gotta love a td GU. Contemplating selling ny 1gr fe 120 series for a td42t GU. Im already on 35s and a 5inch lift but thatsnthe limit of a prado. Thing its 250hp stock and its got the 5 speed manual which makes it like one of 25 in aus. And the limi makes a bitta noise. But i love the big TD and all its quirks. Alao contemplating a 1hz tubo on 10 psi.

Haha appreciate you dude, trying my best to be as safe at all times as possible it’s just our ridiculous outdated nonsense laws that doesn’t actually equal safety, they’re just arbitrary numbers someone came up with once.. we live in a muddy state we need suitable grip to be as safe out there as we can.
@philmarriott80842 күн бұрын
I have done what you call alibabas cave in a GU wagon with nothing more than a 2 inch lift, with my brother in a 100 series and a mate in an old Prado. I have photos to prove it and a fair bit of video footage. While my brother and mate in Toyotas drove out without help from memory, I’m ashamed to admit, I took a bad line and got hung up on a rock just before the tree line stops, once winched out, the hill was smooth sailing so to speak.. that was in 2014. I’ve seen all Tyler’s video footage from past trips, there’s been a heck of a lot of natural erosion down there. Those rocks weren’t half the size they appear to be now lol.. I have a geocache hidden in that cave I have to check on soon, also it has been the hide out for past bush rangers from story’s I’ve heard from locals.. let me know if you really want to see the picks or videos I can sought something out. Keep up the good work Timmy!😊
@timmyhasheartКүн бұрын
Awesome mate! Yeah Tyler mentioned the first time he ever went there it was a lot less eroded, that’s the way that sand stone areas go though. Water does a lot of damage! Yeah I only run a 2” lift also - would love to see pics or vids man! My Instagram is timmyhasheart 💪

Yeah man, this sport is being attacked by all angles and I’m going to be honest with you it outright scares me to the point I have to try and not think about it, from harassment and blind enforcement of arbitrary meaningless rules from a bulletin where they just decided 50mm was the difference between safe or not, life or death all the way to closing beautiful places we love to visit. This is my outlet for my own peace of mind and sanity and to have it attacked is very scary

@ don’t know why you do videos that get repeated by other people over and over . Are you not good enough to do your own thing . Seems all videos are the same just different click bait titles
@timmyhasheart8 күн бұрын
@trickymon I think you might think that this is my job or something? Like I’m just filming what I’m doing, I have a full time job I have 0 requirement to film these videos or entice anyone to click anything, I wheeled and built 4wds in 2015 with no cameras, and I wheel and build cars now in 2024 except I decided I’d share what I do, I’m not here to click bait, not here for the most views, not here to be the best, just filming my life and chucking it out there and having a ball doing it, this trip was what I needed with work and life going on at home, so I brought a camera along on a trip with mates, did a leg with Tyler, it’s his job so obviously he had to get content then did a leg with some other boys that’s all man. I’m just making stuff that I’d watch myself, but if it’s not for you that’s sweet that’s the beauty of this platform.. You get to pick what you watch? So pick someone better than me that’s totally sweet, or even better maybe make some better videos yourself? “Am I not good enough…..” honestly na probably not? I’m just having a go hey.. it’s either I film what I’m doing and chuck it up or I just don’t? At which point there would be no video.
