Tony going back in time and meeting his father was such an underrated sad moment in End Game, most people are focusing on the "Love you 3000 thing" (and rightfully so) but Tony meeting his father who tells him he'd do anything for his son was still memorable since Tony grew up believing his father didn't care for him as he never displayed that kind of affection.

After watching Endgame the 2nd time round, I realised in the scene just before Cap returns all the stones that Bucky already knew what Cap was gonna do. Bucky told Cap “I’m gonna miss u” so he already knew he wasn’t coming back. Bucky also knew to look for the older Cap at that bench, and by telling Sam to “go ahead”, he knew Cap was gonna hand Sam the shield. Cap & Bucky had a whole conversation before that scene, that we’ll hopefully get to see in the Falcon & Winter Soldier series.
@gustafsone5 жыл бұрын
Another interpretation I've heard about that scene is that Cap was prepared to give the shield to whoever decided to walk up to him while he was sitting on the bench. He had already determined that Bucky and Falcon were both worthy but it was up to the two of them to decide. Bucky let Sam go to Cap because he himself didn't feel worthy. The whole point of "Captain America" is that he is nearly perfect in every way. That's not to say that mistakes can't or won't ever be made, but at his heart, Cap is the epitome of "Good". Bucky's entire history is dark and while he was technically under the influence when he did evil things, he still did them and I don't think he has, and possibly never will, forgive himself for it.

Oh man, a couple of others for me: 1. The Avengers- The scene in the Battle of New York where the camera pans around the Avengers captures their first moment as a team imo. That 40 second continuous scene that captures the individual members fighting the Chitauri was also amazing. 2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2- The end scene with Yondu's funeral. If GotG 1 signified the Guardians becoming a team, the end of GotG 2 showed them as a family. The characters (Peter to Yondu, Nebula to Gamora, and Rocket to the rest of the Guardians) all realized their true family in that scene. Another great scene was Yondu, Rocket, and Groot breaking out of captivity to the tune of "Come A Little Bit Closer". Yondu's power is also ridiculously visually appealing. 3. Thor: Ragnarok- When Thor summons his lightning after Hela asks him what he's the god of. "Immigrant Song" doesn't hurt either. It's arguably the best fight scene in the MCU outside of Avengers fight scenes imo. A similar sentiment can be said about his "Bring me Thanos!" line in Infinity War. There's so many to name. Each of the Avengers movies (throw Civil War in there too) can probably can provide a whole list of their own.

@christophergongora78855 жыл бұрын
1st time it was ever said Avengers Assemble
@NieColall5 жыл бұрын
These are extremly good moments and the MCU as a whole is something unique but compared to masterpieces in movie history these can't compare. The plot twists in Usual Suspects or Seven, acting in Godfather 1, Taxi Driver or Shining etc. "I am Iron Man" only had such an impact because it fulfills the MCU arc that started with Iron Man a decade ago. People can relate more and therefore appreciate this moment much more than it is. Same thing with the Mjölnir or Avengers Assemble. It only works because of the knowledge viewers had before watching this finale and a movie shouldn't require that to be called a masterpiece. Endgame would be a worthless mess of a movie without the 20 movies before that which is why it would be unfair to call moments in Endgame "the best in movie history". None of the MCU movies are masterpieces. The franchise MCU itself is a masterpiece though and probably the best of all time.
@SuperSanity15 жыл бұрын
@@NieColall It's kind of... dumb (?) to say that Endgame would be a mess without the rest of the movies. It plain wouldn't exist without the rest of them. So to try to look at it without them, as an incomplete story, is just useless and a waste of time.

It was definitely the best film of that phase. I loved it.

Made by the same 4 guys who did infinity War and Endgame. I agree, Winter Soldier is my favorite.

I don't know why but my one of the most emotional moment of endgame is the final talk between cap and Bucky, a call back to cap 1 and cap2, a full circle to their relationship, Cap: Don't do anything stupid till I come back Bucky: How can I, you are taking all the stupid with you.

I waited captain to say Avengers assemble for a long time. Almost had the moment at Age of Ultron, almost. And at the endgame when he said "Avengers...", I know for sure I cried.

I did cry, that was my favorite part of the movie.

Actually I was the only person in the theater that yelled out and threw my arms up, like it was about time we hear, and I am definitely glad we got too.

Memory fails me here. Why didn't that happen in Ultron? I don't remember when he could have said that?

Reshoots usually create more issues than solutions in film. Thank god they changed Iron Man's finger snap moment. 'I am inevitable.' 'I am Iron Man.'

My favourite shot is of Cap and his broken shield standing alone against Thanos and his army

Matthew Randell YES! That shot embodies everything I have loved about Captain America. No powers, all heart.

That’s a true director or directors I might say. To listen and to make it some how perfect. Props to the you guys To include “iam iron man” That will mark a legacy to this generation. Bravo! And the reactions the russos did when the editor said to include “iam Ironman” that eureka moment 💯

I believe they credited editor Jeff Ford. Editors and so important, it's great when they're put in the forefront.

The rat saved antman so he could tell them about the quantum realm which led tony stark to cracking time travel. So in a way all 3 were the biggest part of saving the universe since it took all 3 to even get to that outcome. So they are the real mvps 🙌🏻
