Chase, I first met Gary in 2001 at the University of Central Florida. I have always found him a great person to talk with. He was in his early days of getting the company. I have always been a fan and so thrilled for the success he has had. As a truly amateur player who just enjoys playing, I find my GR mouthpiece makes it so much easier to play.

I've been very fortunate to have been working with him from the start, watching scepticism turn to belief as more and more players got a taste of the pudding. :)

Chase, I have played both the CS66M and the CS66MS for over ten years. They are indeed superior. Gary has certainly figured out the math to make superior trumpet mouthpieces. I hope who ever takes over his unique business will retain his proprietary computer programs and tooling as well as the GR head stamp to identify the real deal. I also know he has many Independent part numbers to identify custom work. I certainly wish Gary the best as he has left his unique "Mark" on the trumpet world. Chase I also appreciate your input to Gary on your designs. I hope you will also work with Gary's predecessor as they continue to manufacture a superior product! Thank you for the video.

As I said, the future is unknown, but I'm deeply appreciative of the opportunity to work with GR for so many years, and still today. Glad the CS mouthpieces have continued to serve you well!

I enjoy the efficiency and output of mine. Although, trombone players may wish I played in the stand! 😂

I once played a show where whoever laid out the pit situated the trombones behind the trumpets. We tried every argument we could think of why the trumpets should be in the back row, but the bones were having none of it. For two years, we got a taste of our own medicine.

@@chasesanborn the T-bones just loved that payback! This is actually an intriguing topic in and of itself. Have you considered commentary on ear protection for the musician?

@@rob-shell Don't know as I have enough insight for a video on that. The one time I had custom earplugs made my dog ate them.
