@ Actually i was referring mainly to the low end response of the preamp. I'm going to buy an Ibanez BTB405 very soon, and i was wondering if a preamp replacement is worth it or not

@@steffomca762 preamp/pickups aren't the best but I haven't felt the need to upgrade yet and the response on the low B is alright. If you're buying the bass anyway, I'd try the stock electronics before taking them out.
