GRAB 5 STASH CHALLENGE // Project Life Process Video

Let's dive into another Grab 5 stash challenge! Today we're tackling cut-a-part patterned papers - do you love them, or hate them? I find them a bit tricky to use and tend to avoid them in my scrapbooking processes but I am really trying to work my way through my stash and find different scrappy supplies to work with. Hahaha lorikeet turf wars!!! Best thing I’ve heard in a while! Loves me a Grab 5!!! Great spread. Cut apart frustrate me, but I would like to use them more often. I think I should just cut them all up as soon as I get them and use them as an embellie collection. OMG Marmalow is still going!!! Woo hoo!!!

Archie is just so adorable and rad! As far as the subject of cut aparts, I usually cut them up and put them in a container according to their size. Love me some grab fives!!!! My fave! The spread turned out awesome!

Pretty pages! I'm a flat scrapper, mostly bcuz I'm boring and stick to stickers and washing tape. Only recently have I been using enamel dots, and that's bcuz I watch You. LOL Thanks for sharing!

I do mostly thick; but not too thick pages. I also cut my cut aparts and store them with ephemera by color.

I generally leave cut parts together if they have a general pattern on the back. If they are double sided cut parts I tend to cut them apart once I use them the first time. I tend to be a flat scrapper.

HAHA I just used my "Do Epic Things" wood veneer this year too haha...thats and oldie but goodie one! Haha. I'm definitely in between, but going through a chunky bulky phase lately. I think it happens more when I have all the new things and I want to play with them.

I always struggle with cut a parts, I either cut them all up at once and then forget about them or I’ll prefer the reverse design so I just destroy them by cutting into them 🤣 another lovely page, really making me want to start project life again alongside my full page layouts, maybe not the best time in the middle of a pandemic though when every day is identical 😳😅 x

Love the word “Flangle!” I only recently began purchasing cut apart and pocket cards, for theme albums. At the moment they’re with their paper collections for when I begin those albums.

I go between bulky and completely flat pages depending on what inspires me in the moment.

I love cut a parts & cut them up when I need them. I don’t like to bulk up my albums too much, so I try to use flat embellies. I’m obsessed with ES & Citrus Twist products right now. Lol.

Cut aparts: I have a love/hate relationship with them. And it depends on what is on the back. If I don't like the b side or it is blank or if I can see myself using the majority of them with a picture or child or event in my head when looking at them, I definitely cut them all apart ahead of time and put them with my ephemera. If I like the back side or there are only a few that I like then I will cut out the ones I like and leave the rest as a full or mostly full sheet for the paper. I do not specifically buy cut aparts, but sometimes they are nice to get in a paper pad. I do have an obsession with the borders, though. I love borders and banners! I also like the smaller cut aparts, the larger ones are difficult to use as I feel they take away from the picture(s)

Some cut parts I cut into the different pieces, some I wait till I use it. I have mine all in different storage slim boxes. Glue, buy green tombow..ctmh sells it, but spotlight just started selling it too!!

Totally stealing that “colouring wood veneer with paint pens” idea! I like wood veneer but not so much the colour. It’s a bit blah to me. I’ve tried painting them but that is sooo fiddly. I’m off to Officeworks tomorrow to stock up. 😁 Are they Posca brand? What size nib do you usually use?

Mostly flat but I love to sprinkle a few chunka chunks on the occasion. Definitely try to keep flat for the same reason to add more Pages

It depends on the cut apart. Most of the time I cut them apart completely. But if I love the cut a part I will leave it whole and just cut what I want when I want it.
