It didn't work for a 2007 ford mustang. I bought the t nija 1000 and it worked flawless. The t ninja 1000 and the xtool d7 are very reliable

Try sending the unit back, for another unit. I didn't have an issue when I program my key. Also make sure the OBD programs are update and the unit is connected to the WiFi

Hello. 1. try to register the key with another programmer. 2. It is possible that it is necessary to prescribe the key through all keys lost. 3. The key may not be appropriate. 4. It is possible that only the original key will be registered. Where did you get the second key? Maybe his firmware is not suitable. Try to read the pin code first. Maybe because of this, the programmer writes "Login failed". And check the internet. A Ford Mustang with smart keys requires a pin code, maybe it is also needed for it.

That's what I thought at first. But the key had the same chip as the original. With the ninja programmer I didn't have any problems at all and it was the same key that didn't work with the 501 programmer.

Before program any Ford key you have to make sure if the key you buy from internet it have de same bits,if the old key is a 40 bits and the new key is 80 bits most of the time is not goin to program,you have to convert the chip.basic you are using the wrong key.

Yes. The ninja t1000 has a reader to check the key bit. I only used the same bit keys. The other 80bit keys didn't work for me.

I have programmed used keys from the wrecking yard . Sometimes a fuse .some times is the key .wrong key.faulty key.and immobilizer . I have used some from Amazon and this thing programs them ..if you can't add a key I would try another immobilizer.from the wrecking yard they cheaper

The key for a 2007 ford mustang couldn't be program with the 501 programmer. Even with the manufacturers instructions. Then I bought the TOPDON T Ninja 1000 and it was so simple to do. I don't recommend the 501 programmer. It didn't work for me.

You have to make a dealer key then use it to prog keys

With the TOPDON T NINJA I didn't have to do any of that. Just add a key and thats was it

A mi no me funciono ese programador de llaves. Es de lo que se trata el video. Compra el Xtools D7 o el Topdon tninja 1000 esos son buenos para programar llaves.

Ok pretty sure I know what your problem was... I bet you were using an 80 bit key. I had similar issue... Some key numbers even the same but have 40bit older keys and 80bit newer ones. Are you 100% certain that you didn't get a different key when you used the ninja.. because I really think it may have been the wrong key.... But maybe not. I been using the 501 with great success... Can't say I have done this exact model but others very similar..... So really not sure.. to me paying all that money and fees for the ninja seems like a rip off.... But hey... What do I know...? Not much lol 🤣

I was using the 40bit key. It worked flawless with the ninja.

Well you don't seem to follow the directions. You have keys in and ignition on b4 it even tells you. Then your pulling keys in and out and hitting buttons... Pretty sure you have to follow the steps... carefully and in order. And one time it says key to "be programmed" then another time it says "programming key" which you just seem to ignore... Not saying it will work but if it's going to then you need to follow the directions at least.. and important to have the right transponder key blank. If you don't have the exact right one for the system in that vehicle then it won't work either... Even if you do follow the directions..... Do you know exactly what blank you were trying to program...?

If i didn't follow directions then why it worked with the topdon t ninja 1000 and it worked with the xtool D7 too? I even contacted customer service and followed their directions and it didn't work also. When I got the Topdon t ninja 1000 it worked on the first try. I tried it so many ways that nothing worked

@@Coalcoman925 ok well that sux. I wasn't saying that I know it would work... I was just saying you don't have to be hooked into the other Internet to program a key... But yah if it does didn't work then that sux for sure. Guess those other programmers are better....

@@Coalcoman925 yah I'm wondering did you ever try that programmer on any other vehicles...? Did you return it...? How is that you had two other programmers to try on that same vehicle...? Are you a locksmith...? I was thinking about ordering that 501 unit but now I'm reconsidering...

@@gb7886 At the time I didn't have any other programmer just the 501. I'm not a locksmith. I'm a noob at all this. I'm learning. The Topdon t ninja is a good programmer I would recommend this programmer to anybody. It's doesn't have all vehicles like Mercedes and Smart cars. The Xtool D7 has all those cars that the Topdon doesn't have. I would recommend to check the vehicle list before buying. I also returned the OBD 501 back. Didn't like it. It didn't work for me.
