Its been flawless when it comes to key programming. No i didn't need any adapters for the smart. You will see lights flickering thats normal don't get scared and stop the process

@user-tl5mc3bt3e it has a lot but i haven't been messing with them. The only down side of this machine is you get 3 years of free updates and after that you need to pay yearly i believe

are these keys cheap ones that you can get on ebay? or are they pre programmed genuine ones? aka do these keys need the chips programming before or just this step with x tool? thanks!

Yea. I bought them on ebay for around 25 dollars. You need to cut the key and program them with your xtool

When you buy it they give you 3 years free subscription but after that you will have to pay

Yes thats how I did it. Maybe you can do it by using the all keys lost option. I'm not sure.

Hi thanks for uploading video, Is there an all keys lost function/option? I seen on a comment on Schrodingers Box channel that a guy helped an elderly naibour with a lost key fob and saved them a fortune. that brought me to your channel searching👍 I cant think how it would be possible with a locked car and a lost key fob how he could possibly use. I assume the car would be locked? And if not possible with a locked car how would it be possible with an unlocked car but no key fobs?

How come your xtool D7 only has 7 icons on the bottom of the screen where others have 9 ?

I think if it would be fake I couldn't register the unit. It's registered and I have 3 years of free updates. But it worked to program key fobs with no problem so I'm assuming it's legit.

I contacted the dealer and they said the newer versions are like that. They come in black cases too instead of red.

You need wifi and update it to newer version firmware

This video was very hard to keep up with. All the mumbling was very frustrating. The failure to read the instructions made this video unnecessarily long and convoluted. In the end it was good because it showed the device works. I appreciate the video and the work you put into it but it would be better with a little better planning. You are awesome though.

@@OLIVER949OC2 just so you know the dashboard of your car will be making some noises and lights will be flickering. Thats normal

@@Coalcoman925 I think my car is having issues with the key proximity slot reader it's not detecting a key the current key turns on the car but if my battery dies on my keys I won't be able stick the fob in the key slot reader I have keyless smart key ... might have look at why the reader light is not on when I stick the fob jn maybe a fuse or maybe I need to replace something
