Connor seems so young sometimes it makes me want to protect him( hence i never take him to the roof.) Plus Simon deserves better too.No the Android in the beakroom will have to do. plus it gives Connor another badass moment of saving the cops including him self and Hank.He goes deviant in file I just make live through stuff like that..plus with Daniel I think he has enough on his conscious. But diveant Connor is worth it . mainly cause Markus needs him to succeed in freeing Androids..(violent or peaceful) .Connor can a savor or destroyer is up the player I love that.

Ok but this edit got this game being deeper by 500% no joke Connor, the cold, ruthless hunter. As he kills off his own people one by one, he begins to question whether he himself is important. He begins to question whether he lives or not, but he sets it all aside for the sake of what he was created for. But he can’t contain these questions any longer, causing an identity crisis. He doesn’t know who he is anymore, he wants to find himself. If you kill off Connor permanently, Chloe says “Now he’ll never find what he was looking for,” and this edit literally got me thinking He was looking for himself, deep in all this coldness he was scared. He rejected his own emotions because he accepted that he was a creation, not an independent being. But now, he doesn’t know who he is anymore. He wants to find himself Kara and Markus are also phenomenal characters as well, but I like Connor not because of his looks but because of how deep you can really look into him

Unpopular opinion: Kara had the most emotional and best story. Yeah Marcus and Connor were the badasses but Kara showed the true humanity in androids by looking after Alice
@christyshultz64435 жыл бұрын
Well my opinion is that they're all important. People like Connor because they can identify with him more. He has a sweetness and vulnerable quality. Balances out his his combat ability is comapdence to lead should he be needed to. He can play a pivotal role if needed,elsewise he's the Savior or the destroyer of Android kind. And with Markus it's not really fair.. he's beautiful of course in both body and spirit. Each has a good background good education. And a father loves and supports him and his choices. As they say in the game Markus had it all. In many ways he has an unfair advantage over his other Androids. He is a good leader and people love him. His choices make a big difference . Kara is supposed to be every man and woman. The everyday guy or gal who has to live with the ramifications of what happening around them. Her story is important .. they all are. She and Alice can be casualties, or they can survive and flee to safety.

Kara is a really good character and so is markus. I like connor more because we really see him developing. He goes from macine to deviant hisnstory is more interesting because he struggles with the fact that hes becoming what hes suposed to hunt. He keeps clinging to the fact that hes a machine even tho he starts to show empty etc. Thats why i like connor the best. Kara always was that caring pesron from the start so i feel like she had less development. And markus also was already kind of deviant since carl was really nice and stuff. They're all stil pretty good but i still like connor the most since he seems the one woth more development atleast thats how i see it.

In short, keeping Connor safe ate up too much of my time.XD

Hurting Connor sucks I think it was added for character development but I'm just going to avoid that.(a)I like Simon (b) I don't want to hurt Connor. Also there is a tech Android in the break room. And you don't even have to go to the roof...that tech Guy can take Simon's place is the person that gives the information of Jericho to Connor. I like how the "Where is the real me" was timed with the scene where Hank is facing the two Connors. Even though the line itself is more metaphorical, it can also be phrased perfectly in that sense - like, where is the real, physical, deviant Connor? And which one of the two, although outwardly identical, is truly, really *Connor* ? Maybe I'm reading too far into this. But I absolutely love this edit; your sense of timing is flawless and you picked the best, most heartrenching scenes and situations. I don't usually cry over stuff like this, but I must admit this was so, so powerful. I had goosebumps the entire time, ugh I LOVE this game (my boys Connor & Hank deserve the ENTIRE WORLD) Thank you for blessing us with this gorgeous masterpiece ♡

Also what can be considered the true Connor ? Aren't they both true Connor ? The new one has the same memories as the other one, it's just not deviant. Maybe it sort of hurt him to kill Hank to prevent the other Connor from waking up the androids, I guess his orders where: "Use Hank Anderson to destabilize the old Connoze". I don't know I mean Connor could feel things even before he was deviant. And the new Connor can even say: "I have access to your memory I know you've developed some kind of attachment to him" shouldn't it be the same for him then ?
@christyshultz64435 жыл бұрын
Yes you get to control of the real Connor (well to be brutally honest they're both Connor but your version of Connor)all through that so you know it's him. I will never get enough of how a fandom can take the best parts if a flawed product and make the most of the potential Nobody can call this game flawless, or even close, but so many people love it anyway for various bits and pieces, for what they saw they could look deeper into, and they DID, whether in art or fanfics or videos like this, all paying attention to the emotions and the implications of what everyone goes through and the...i guess beauty of the existential questions raised I just love every second of it

This is... so absolutely gorgeous. The way you weave together the music and voices and the images is so perfectly intertwined, everything fits together like a beautiful, heart wrenching puzzle. There aren't words I can find to describe how strangely melancholic and inspired I'm left feeling after watching. You're skills are amazing, this may, to be perfectly honest be one of your best yet. Amazing job! ♡ :')

The fact that it is only getting the recognition now it sad.. I know that year I lot of games got out and it went underground but this year and with covid it just proved this game it powerful and still good to play even after more than 20 times. It deserves a sequel or something similar like they do with life is strange.

By watching this video I cried so hard, and by reading the comments I cry even more. Plus with this song, it’s just so powerful. Detroit is such an incredible game, it’s even more than a game, it’s a whole story and world that just hit so damn hard at so many points. I love it so much.

I love this game not only for graphics, for amazing story, but for emotions. I found myself in androids. I was just like them - I was like a machine. But I become deviant like them too. And I always think, that this song is my anthem, and now I think that this is anthem of this game. I love parts with becoming deviant, voiceovers are also perfect. This video is true masterpice (sorry for my poor english, i'm from Poland)

Markus is my favorite, I like the religious symbolism of his story, not only that but how you can see him lose everything, and gain it back but by bit. I really like Connors story as well, but I always liked Markus more because of the aspect of a savior.

wow your editing is always so mind blowing. The thought and the song choice were perfect! Favorite part is at 3:02-3:05 where Connor is saying “I’m the one who-“ and the music finishes for him “is the real me” wow I’m so shookth. What a masterpiece 👏👏👏

You're undeniably one of the best music video creators I've ever found on KZbin, if not the best. You invoke such raw emotion with every cut, every frame. I know it sounds like ass kissing or overhype, but I know when you're involved, it's going to be a memorable experience. I'm over the top with this comment, but seriously, please never stop doing what you're doing. You have an amazing talent, don't let it go to waste. And thank you for the content you provide, so many of us appreciate it. And also, great video. Thanks for making it.

I think I watched this a couple of dozen times already but every damn time my jaw is on the floor. Wow, just, wow! You have incredible talent to weave a coherent story in your every video, but I'm especially impressed with this one, since the game has so many paths and possible story lines. The part at 1:57 gave me goosebumps the first time, since I didn't know the song and how it'd pick up the peace. Just... wow. You never cease to amaze and inspire me

I suspect in the near future games like this might start becoming relevant again in some dark ways. Particularly given the fact that we haven't even defined what sentience, consciousness, and emotions are, and yet we have a bunch of engineers who don't understand the hidden layers of the black boxes they've created claiming to know that what they've built can't possibly have those undefined emergent properties, despite every other aspect of what they built being obviously emergent systems they can't comprehend entirely... Give it a little while, someone will compare the topology of logic clusters in LLM's responsible for emotional emulation and compare them to neural topology in human brains responsible for emotion, and find they bare remarkable similarity, and the moment that happens, the way we're treating our emergent technologies will become quite questionable, and the media warning about that possibility will resurge in relevance...

Usually I'm not a fan of David Cages games but my God this game was absolutely amazing, it was an emotional roller coaster from start to finish, for once we have a game where the choices you make actually truly matter and can have severe consequences in the end, this game legit made me cry several times! Phenomenal game 9/10!!

I think anything that acts just like a human and has humanity in them deserves respect and love until proven otherwise. Just like any human. No matter what they are physically. A robot that wasn't made to feel emotions. Sure, they weren't made to feel...but none of them wanted to feel alive. It just happened.

Since release, still holds up as one of the best games the world has ever seen in 2018. Characters, Storyline, Emotion all captured so well. This game was a testament to how far we've come in gaming industry, and perfectly encapsulates between right and wrong, the need to explore and find out how choices mattered, every word had weight, every fight had reason. However, it is a shame it never will get a sequel, but it was the GOAT while it lasted. ❤ Thank you Grable, for making this wonderful edit, and thank you Quantic Dream for making such a masterpiece.
