This lady can sing..... but the star of the show is a 17 year old guitarist with incredible talent for one so young. I am old now and have played blues for over 55 years and have not one iota of the talent this beautiful young lady has. She almost makes me feel like I have wasted my life, but then I think that we all have a part to play in the blues, regardless of our skill levels. But Grace takes the level to a higher plane that I ever could.

The original recording (Black Angel Blues - “I’ve got a sweet black angel”) is by Lucille Bogan who is credited with writing the song (1930). Tampa Red recreated the “angel” as a female one (1934). B.B. King based his version upon the one by Robert Nighthawk and “decolourized” the “angel” (Sweet Little Angel).
