My wife (of 25 years) and I really enjoy your music. Grace is her favorite. She just underwent emergency surgery, I thought that I was going to loose her. This song helped me to focus and feel like she would pull thru. The thought of loosing her tore my heart out. Your talent and creativity as expressed in your music affects people in positive ways that you cannot possibly know. I just wanted to thank you.

@glennlecorvec1065 Thank you for commenting, yes my wife is OK. I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm 65 years old now and I have learned that the difficult times help to prepare us for the difficulties yet to come and I believe that our departed loved ones are at peace and that one day we will see them again. Be strong, in time the pain will become bearable. Keep them alive in your thoughts and keep them alive by telling others about their goodness.

The thing I most love about your playing, Calum, is that, while unquestionably masterful, your technique never takes precedence over your musicality. You don’t indulge in slapping, tapping, chucking, other percussive techniques just to show off your chops or because it’s cool or in vogue. You only go there when those sounds support the melodic, harmonic, structural or rhythmic integrity of the piece. So beautiful and very appreciated! And I believe Antoine is much the same in his sensibilities. I absolutely love that you two have found each other and are collaborating! Many thanks to both of you for creating such beauty and sharing your gifts.

I worked for this guys dad once, probably 15 years ago or so, he told me about his son while worked very hard to help out with our respected jobs. It is amazing to me to hear this. No clue how the relationship was between the two of them, but this guy sure is something. I think I’m happier to know that he never had to go down same path as his dad. You are truly remarkable Calum.

Wow. That was extremely beautiful. I love the non percussive playing as I think that gets over used nowadays and it's great to hear these two playing more traditional acoustic.
@wurthit12395 жыл бұрын
David the biker. absolutely!! Cannot agree more. Don’t get me wrong, I love the percussive stuff. However I truly believe there are some great songs out there that perhaps get a bit lost behind the “noise”. This song sounds perfect, just the way it’s served......magic🙏
@billnott58115 жыл бұрын
Percussive playing has its place , but more and more it seems to be used as a crutch , as this next generation of acoustic players seem to be unable to write a single song without it
@fme19665 жыл бұрын

Our hearts are so full of longing because Eden is remembered in our DNA. We walked with God in a garden of sheer delight. Bliss was the consequence of being loved so deeply we could not help but sing the names of every creature into existence. I'm in the Northwest too and the background to Graham reminds me of what I love so much, the wild and rocky coasts of all the Puget Sound Islands and all up through the Canadian coast lands too. Hmm... makes my heart sing!

Hahahahah ohh I feel so sorry Mr. Graham... after the first minute of the video I thought at first "dang Jimmy Whalsteen nailed it again... but I miss his rhythm -thump-ring!" Than I reallised, that it´s MASTER Graham playing and not master Whalsteen. But on a quick look, you are looking a bit like Jimmy Whalsteen. Sorry I was a bit confused and if I´ve touched you personaly in a bad way, I beg a million times for pardon! Dear Master Graham, ALL of the musicians publishing on Candyrat are real MASTERS of theyr art, so you are!
