We appreciate the kingly drives of those scientists searching out these matters and Hugh and Reasons bringing it into the light. 20+ years ago - it was attending a talk of Hugh Ross that brought me to read & test out the Bible, ...and there found truth (little "t") and Truth in Jesus Christ. To my mind, God asks us to have Faith. Proving the existence of God is the antithesis of Faith. I'm not against science, I just feel it is extraneous to my spiritual experience.

Yes and no, the flood was in the last ice age, see levels were lower so flooding of the Mesopotamia valley (where all of mankind was living) was easy. But, no the water can from the sky and spring as the Bible says.

If you are speaking of Earth's polar ice cap, it's still there. If you are speaking of the polar ice on Mars, Ross explains that in other talks, it comes and it goes depending on the tilt of the planet.

slide graphic: from the book of job 1:00 the creator has been throwing asteroids at the planet with exact precision in size/location/time to foster the perfect ecology required for high technology advanced civilizations on earth now as we know it. let's review 3 examples and if it weren't for these we wouldn't be here. for 90% of earth's history there has been no ice formations, yet now when the sun is at its brightest it has ice, because the sun is only stable enough to enable global civilization now, in it's middle age. 6:05 2.5M years ago, one hit in s. pacific in 17,000ft deep ocean off the coast of south america causing 1000ft tidal wave and sent minerals into atmosphere to dim the sun, cool the planet and set in motion the ice age cycle where planet is 10-20% ice. this asteroid collision coincided with 5 key tectonic events. all 6 events required to set in motion the ice age cycle to cool the planet from the poles to make human civilization possible. tectonic miracle #1 (from the book of job) rewind a few million years, we have antarctica attached to south america, it tectonically broke away and raced to the south pole and stops dead. it amassed enormous depths of ice which reflects 60% sunlight and circulates cool waters northward to cool the land masses. tectonic miracle #2 rewind a few million years, greenland breaks off newfoundland, moves rapidly north and stops dead over a hot plume which pushes greenland 3000ft higher which allowed icecap to form which reflects 60% sunlight and cools the planet. 9:18 the asteroid collision allowed the formation of the polar ice cap. 11:08 tectonic miracle #5: the indian subcontinent broke off from madagascar, raced north to asia and smashes into it so fast it creates the himalayas (and is still pushing into it, raising it). that ice mass over the tibetan plateau is the 3rd largest ice store (more than in arctic icecap) and due to equatorial location it has the greatest cooling capacity of 5 tectonic events. 13:35 the 2nd big astroid was 800K years ago in the s. china sea where spratly islands are today which are the scattered result of the island that struck and sent material into space. 20:17 the last 9500 years we've had a very stable climate enabling farming, lumbering and advanced civilization. and our rotation axis is tilting more towards 22-degrees which also cools the planet. 22:35 using deep ice radar, nasa finally spots a 32km crater under greenland as evidence corresponding to 12,800 years ago, causing scattering of ice into atmo that cooled the planet and rained rocks across n. america and pelted lake agassiz and reconfigured it's purpose effectively reversing the gulf stream effect, cooling the land masses, stabilizing the climate for 9500 years to date.

This information came from where? Aliens? Again, You don't know that the Genesis 1 text gives us 4 correct initial starting conditions and 10 Creation events in the correct chronological sequence because you have not looked at the details. You think that this is coincidence? 1) The Bible is the only Holy Book that gets 14 out of 14 correct. 2) The Enuma Elish gets 2 out of 14. 3) ALL others get ZERO! Therefore, all other so called Holy books are man made. They cannot be from the Creator of matter, space, time, and energy and are irrelevant. Ignorance can be fixed through proper education. Willful ignorance cannot be fixed because it is an individuals choice. Sadly, you suffer from the latter. The only way that it is possible for these and many other confirmed scientific facts to have been accurately documented by Biblical Authors thousands of years ago is by God. GET OVER IT!

Biblical Hebrew a small vocabulary than English. In biblical Hebrew, there is no word for universe. Instead, the Hebrew phrase that is translated “the heavens and the earth” is used to refer to the universe-the entirety of physical reality. The phrase is used thirteen times in the Old Testament, always referring to all matter, energy, space, and time the universe. We now know that event was 13.787 ±0.020 billion years. This has been checked, proven and measured with many tools and they all agree. It is not just space that came to be 13.787 billion years ago, but time also. The universe is finite and expanding. Just as the Bible stated thousands of years ago. To deny the existence of a Creator is an error. Why are you here. Why is mankind here?
