Renounce and rebuke those beliefs and those items if you have them, bc they can give unclean spirits and the demonic kingdom an entry point, a stronghold. Actually Elijah was taken through the air above to a new assignment. Transported is the word. He certainly couldn't have been taken out of earth's environment. He would have blown up due to the lack of external pressure. Jesus clearly stated that humans have never been to heaven (John 3:13).

That you alone have been granted the key, And before your glory they shall all bend a knee. P.S.- Not too long ago I was very bitter and destructive. Literally I was covered in blood from head to toe and ripping off nails and things of that nature. In my mind Jesus was against me, he had a vendetta against me which I couldn't account for. Then slowly but surely I started having these revelations, and began delving into the word of God. It seemed like my agony was not in vain. The things which held me back eventually began to propel me forward. The darkness began fading away and an unspeakably bright light was surfacing. Jesus told me that he had to break me in order for me to rediscover who I really was. Sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today I am almost fully healed in every conceivable way, and things like being a virgin and being covered in scars I strangely enough take much pride in. I took up my cross and followed Christ and in doing so I discovered the greatest love of all.

The heading for this item says he was carried to heaven by a chariot. The Bible says the chariot separated Elijah from Elisha, and Elijah went up in a whirlwind, not a chariot. There is no defence to him going to heaven either.

The word heaven means the sky above us. Jeremiah 9:And the sound of livestock is not heard. The birds of HEAVEN and the beasts have fled; they are gone. This refers to birds who fly in the space above the earth. Not birds who live in heaven. Just some help.

@@tongakhan230 something about this comment has me intrigued. Namely that it is said God created light before God created the sun. The sun then feels, to me, like the fake light of the fire. Which could suggest both the wind and the chariot of fire spoken as truth. Wind- being where the birds reside and the chariot of fire being the sun. Something that seems relevant to this are the words of Jesus- the man who looks to the sky will be preceded by the birds, the man who looks into the water will be preceded by the fish. If you're here, and able, to help with expansion of understanding, I will always appreciate more understanding, for the benefit of Unity. 🙏

@@OdinsGrowl : In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth - Genesis 1:1. The heavens is not God's abode but the heavenly bodies. These were already in place when God prepared the earth for human and other life form habitation. When God said "Let there be light" the sun was already in place. Its light filtered through by God clearing the cause of darkness on the earth. Genesis 2:2 Now the earth was FORMLESS AND DESOLATE, and there was DARKNESS upon the surface of the watery deep, The earth and other heavenly bodies could be millions or billions years in age. Not sure where Jesus said those words. If one can be specific, maybe I can help. I trust the above helps.

@tongakhan230 Psalm 104:3; Jeremiah 4:13. What do you have to say about these? The same an ant would say of droplets of dew, or a puff of airwick, blowing speck of dust into the limitless atmosphere... This world is just a tent that God had prepared, air-conditioned, and fitted with all mod-cons (modern conveniences), to support life of fallen man until he is restored to glory or to corruption and ultimate destruction. If it is written that He was taken to heaven, then so it is, you just have to wait for the conclusion of this world system to find out what or where heaven really is. Even if someone were to explain, there's the positive that you may never understand. Even Daniel couldn't understand what the angel was telling him, so, he had to shut the book until all came to pass and he now gets a full grasp of it all. I'm sure he's going to have an "...ahhhhh, ahhhhh, oooh, ooooh...I seeeee..." moment, just like you will.

@tongakhan230 You're absolutely correct. But, how did God bury Moses? Where were he and Elijah kept until their appearance on the mount of transfiguration? Why were the three Hebrew boys not affected by the heat of the fiery furnace, heated seven more times, and the lions couldn't hurt Daniel either? I believe that they're changed in the twinkling of the eye, right before they defy the very laws of nature which God Himself put in place in this world Therefore it can be concluded that Elijah didn't ascend into heaven as a man, but as a changed, new being, Just like Jesus Christ defied the law of gravity, as the risen Lord, otherwise, the fiery chariots would have burned Elijah to smithereens! Known to God alone are His ways! The exact same thing with Believers when Jesus Christ returns to ransom His purchased possession, and they meet them in the air, with a changed, new body. No one can explain that. Jesus Christ only speaks and does as it is written of Him. He doesn't meddle in the past but refers to them as necessary. He came as the Messiah of Israel, and a Minister for the circumcision, not the world until they rejected Him, then He had to shed His blood for the propitiation for all sins of the whole world. John 12:32. We cannot use carnal minds to understand or discerne spiritual things. The Holy Spirit, however, does help in shedding light on them, now it's left for us to just take it as it is, simply by faith!
