Ahab was indeed a very evil king, but, even more wicked was Mannaseh. He also worshipped Baal and even sacrificed his own son by fire. He shed such bloodshed, it stretched from one end of the kingdom to the other. Fortunately, he repented. His son was also a very bad king but thank God Mannaseh had a very positive influence on his grandson Josiah who was a very good king

We are born sinners. God looks at the heart. Walk by the Spirit that you may not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Hide God's word in your heart that you may not sin against him. In Christ Jesus only are we made justified. Because we are sinners it will always be a constant back and forth between good and evil, right and wrong. But, do not be discourage. Jesus Christ has already died for all your past, present and future sins on the cross. Once you genuinely repent, he will forgive you. Remember we are not save through works but by the wonderful gift of salvation. Let the Holy Spirit through the word of God continue to work on your heart, only then will change come. Be bless.
