more people should take this stuff to heart. literally. it is far easier to let go of anger than it is to hold on to it and hold it against other people forever. if someone wrongs you, don't let it eat you up. pray for them and pray that God will free you from anger and resentment. i'm 39 and divorced and i still care about and love my ex wife (though not romantically. i do not pine over her and that divorce was honestly a blessing to me.) we have not spoken any since 2019 (we never had kids) and there is no way i would ever get back with her after how she treated me BUT i do not hold resentment toward her in any way. it's so much easier to just let that stuff go and focus on the present and on bettering yourself and how you deal with drama and issues. focus on self-improvement. i pray every single day to Jesus for help in not dwelling on the past but instead focusing on the present and on every opportunity for betterment that Christ blesses me with.
