My wife passed away 6 years ago after giving birth to our daughter. Every night, I read to her while she stares deeply into my eyes and listens intensely. I can feel you. I, too, have been wanting to go home, see my mom, dad, and brother. I am tired as well, and I have been searching for light in the darkness. I am tired of this world, the hate, the wars, the greed of people, all the evil. I am exhausted trying to help a mentally ill daughter who suffers seizures because she is a addict. I have brought her back to life. More times, I can count. She had six siezures since the beginning of the year. The combination of both and addiction is more than I can bear. There has been no improvement, I show her unconditional love, she comes at me with disrespect, talks to me crazy. I am watching her slowly kill herself, her brain is not the same, and I am so full of sorrow, it hurts so much. Been going through this for seven years. I don't know how much more I can take. The only thing that gives me peace is staying in the word, lamenting, still thankful, but ready to come home. I have loved Jesus since I was six years old. However, sometimes it's just all too much, and I beg God to bring me home, to gaze upon him, and rest in his arms. Pray for me not to bound up by my issues, and depression weighing me down.
