I can totally emphasize with you! I was in that same horrible traumatic situation a year ago. I also have had chronic illnesses for 21 years, and this added to my helpless feelings and lack of support to the point that I had to take legal action, with which my friends helped me because I couldn’t function. The situation has gotten better, but my central nervous system regulation was damaged, and I’m still in freeze response. I realize I’ve had problems since childhood, which I thought I had dealt with, but I’m trying to do somatic healing and gratefulness meditations, as recommended by my doctor. How are you doing now? I hope you’re well❣️🙏

I thank you Lord for not turning your cheek on me despite my sins, which i now realise after years of being in the wilderness, Jesus is my one and only salvation. I still have hard times but i am at peace now knowing you walk with me through these hard times. I worry no more. Thank you Lord I know i am far from perfect and that i will still sin at times, but have felt your patience with me, i have felt you move in mylife and show me youre near me. So i doubt no more Lord. I run towards you almost with blind faith as i learn how i can be with you forever, i learn how to release all these old and heavy burdens. I’m going to change some of these words, with your permission l, because I am recovering from 21 year toxin- based overlapping illnesses. But, I have a lot to be thankful for, even if I cry by myself a lot. I have my dog beside me, and my beautiful 8 year-old granddaughter who tells me she loves me. I also have heard from former students themselves, or through my adult children who run into them, that they loved me and I was their best teacher and cared about them. I did, and do, care about each one, and I thank God I was healthy enough to have a 40 year teaching vocation!

@SOVEREIGN I like your understanding of religion (Christianity). I have been searching for truth about the bible and I have read many interpretations and opinions. I don’t know what the bible is trying to convey for Christians except I imagine it’s all about our inner self,soul,consciousness whatever you want to call it , and the bible characters are allegories/metaphors? 🤔 is it really about psychology applied to man? Knowing thyself? I hope you could point me in the right direction to understand more 👍🏼

I give thanks for my apartment 🙏 many people are homeless I give thanks for my breakfast I have three meals a day I am going to the library I get tons of reading material for free I can still walk many people are in a wheelchair I give thanks for my bus pass I ride around the city cheaply I give thanks for my pension I give thanks for jesus 😊 God bless every one 😊

I was taught to say thank you for even the little things. Yesterday I drove alone on a short road trip. I prayed before during and after for safety. It becomes apart of your life. I'm still working on being thankful during the worst of the worst in my life. I still need God's help in loving my brother whom has hurt me physically. I have forgiven him,yet I choose not to have a relationship with him.
