So many tears watching this! Y’all have touched my life personally and I have always had a heart for missions and helping people. Honestly the advances they have made in local adoption are amazing. I have two adopted family members and I’ve seen how expensive and difficult adoption is. I’m praying for our adoption process here to be improved as well. I love how Liam mentioned people being so happy and thankful for what they have. We take so much for granted here in America. It really changes your heart having experiences like this in other countries. Thank y’all so much for not only helping people here and all over the world but also for working hard to make it possible for your kids to go back and visit their native countries. A lot of kids adopted from other countries never get to experience that. And I’m sure its incredibly expensive so I definitely want to acknowledge your hard work and dedication to honoring your children’s cultures. Y’all are amazing!!!!

Actually they got a project called #GreenLegacy initiated by the Prime Minister Abiy where they plant billions and billions of trees every year in rural and urban areas.

It’s so lush and green for most of the country. The drought has been devastating for the south of Ethiopia. Help One Now had done so much in that region to help. So grateful.

Hey there! They were given Orthodox Christian names at birth, so thinking that’s more of their cultural background. But we haven’t pushed religion on any of our kids. They have all had the right to choose what they believe and make their faith their own. If we can talk them into believing something than anyone else can talk them out. It’s a work of the Holy Spirit in their lives and something they have to own for themselves. And Jesus has been very kind to draw them to himself and save them by his gracious offering of dying on the cross for their sins and giving them new life, new home, an eternal inheritance, supernatural peace and joy through trials. It’s not a religion so much as a relationship. He is good.

Amanda I know how hard it is when you are travelling and feeling really poorly. A few yrs ago, my husband and I managed to go on a grip of our dreams to Israel. It was an extremely busy time . The schedule for each day. Our Itinerary. Unfortunately maybe from the journey who knows. I became poorly. I three up the first night for a long time. If I had been home, I would of stayed in bed for at least a couple of days. But there was no way really I could do that. It was an expensive trip which we had looked forward to for so long. We had saiD said so many things to do each day. Somehow I truly believe with God's massive help , I got through. I had plenty of bottled water to drink. All my friends helped me with supportive words and prayers. We did stop for a rest a couple of times,which helped me immensely. After the third day I did start to feel better. I had to not be angry about the situation. Why on holiday would I have to feel so poorly?!!. Then I needed to remember. God obsolescence much through it all. I promiscuous guys bedtime through. It was a wonderful eight days. I cried the day we had to go home. Love you guys and so happy you got to take your grown up boys Jude and Liam to see their country they were born in and director a short time. Also it was great to see Ethan with you and Reese. Such a wonderful big sister. Such a beautiful young lady. 😍😍
