Can 只不过 be replaced with 就是 ?

Good question! “就是” actually has many different usages and meanings. When it expresses a similar meaning to “只不過（只不过）”, they can sometimes be interchangeable, but their meanings might be subtly different. I haven't studied all the uses of “就是” in depth, so the differences I mention below are based on my personal sense of the language, so you can take it with a grain of salt: I feel that “只不過（只不过）” is used to slightly change the direction of a sentence, pointing out a minor downside or limitation, while the preceding part remains the main point. For example, "他什麼都好，只不過脾氣不好（他什么都好，只不过脾气不好）" (He's good in every aspect, it's just that he has a bad temper). However, “就是” emphasizes a specific issue, which can shift the focus to that problem. For example, "他什麼都好，就是脾氣不好（他什么都好，就是脾气不好）" (He's good in every aspect, but the problem is that he has a bad temper).
