Honestly, if I were Brianna I would not want my young daughter around Devoin's roommate in an over the night setting. I would definitely be more careful about who I expose my young daughter to. A disgusting fact to society is young girls get sexually assaulted more often than we would like to think and it is usually by someone that they are exposed to. I'm not saying that it the roommates intentions but you never know until it happens. Brianna needs to consider that and validate Nova's feelings of being uncomfortable about spending the night. That is what I instantly thought of when she was so hastily recommending Nova to go spend the night 3-4 nights. My thoughts are either she was with him when he was a sober person, before he became an addict or she is a closet addict. The first one is what I lean towards because that’s why I stayed with an addict for so long. You knew the person before and know they can be a good person. It’s toxic, but sometimes it takes a while to see that they can only help themselves and you are only enabling.

False security. With her childhood it was already bound to be this way.. People tend to come accros what they've known, especially when they've experienced trauma, because that's what they can anticipate, because they know how. So the body unsubconsiously gets drawn to the false security. Something completely new, from what she's known, is what she needs, but it's too scary after all she's been through, to anticipate on if things go wrong. (And too big of a change so early on) Plus she has healing to do, so she automatically falls out of the "better life" category, meeting people she can learn from how, because there she will be the odd one out, with all the strange problems, which makes you fall back on mostly the same crowd, with the ocassional exception here and there, until you heal.. Put on top of that her normalisation to the wrong things and the conditioning she grew up with, the things she's still unconsious of, normalised to.. This is why it's hard to break a generational cycle.. I know because I've been in that position of getting out, still a bit. And I'm telling you; when she was a teenager, getting already that fast out of the position she was in, even though she wanted/wants to desperately, while so many things to yet become consious of.. Forget it.. It takes years and years and years. Healing, unormalising, growing, always continuously switching between those 3.. At her teen age, she was bound to meet someone like shawn/sean, cling to the "love" she knew, thought she could help him, (you mirror yourself in the situations you get) it will take a few more years to grow past that and learn enough boundaries to move on from that, it takes self love to enforce those boundaries too, and she's not at that point yet.. There's a difference between knowing how it's supposed to be, and feeling it in your heart.. One's her selflove will grow and she will understand she's not and will not be an awful human being for not helping him out but choosing herself, because you can help, but not if it's affecting you.., she will get there.. And her baby will be her drive to do it.. Later on she will learn to do that for herself.. Give it time, I can say I believe in her.. It's the rebels that usually break the cycle and get out eventually.. But it takes time..

She said “Corey owes me an apology” and then deleted her comment ??? Seriously Leah ? She’s always a victim blaming everyone else and now she’s profiting from her book and pushing her fake “be positive everyone everyone has addictions and struggle” in my opinion her girls are lack an extreme lack of discipline. Their behavior isn’t cute the girls aren’t “sassy “ because I can guarantee to you no one would think the behavior was cute coming from nova . Leah does the bare minimum and fans applaud her and I wonder if people would of kept the same energy if she was black . So glad you said this! There’s one episode where Janelle baths him and put him in pajamas and then to bed, Barb goes in and changes him out of the pajamas into the ones she wanted him to wear! Although Janelle would never have been able to raise Jace- she had no job, no other home, took drugs.... a couple of years later she had a home with Nathan and could have tried having Jace back then.... when he was small and could have settled before starting school.... but nope didn’t even try x

baby Stella reminded me of my own daughter, who’s father dipped the second we conceived. sometimes i look at my daughter and cry because there’s a hole and void in her heart where her father should be. i realized recently that “fatherless” children grow up to be warriors, if nurtured properly. praying for all of our babies. hopefully briana realizes how blessed she truly is to have Devoin.

Ok, I just want to say that I agree with Leah trying to make too much Cory's fault...however. I broke my back having my daughter, yes literally broke my back, I had to have 2 back surgeries & it left me disabled & in a LOT of pain. I was a fire fighter for 16yrs & saw addiction a lot and when I was given opiods I had to work really hard to make sure that the 1st year I only took them when the pain was coming back, not when the effects(high) was gone. I have witnessed too many ppl w/addiction and to think they are gonna reach out or speak up is asking a lot. No one wants to be a drug addict and if it were that easy, ppl would just get help out the gate. I can see her, for the show, discussing it w/Cory, but the blame is on them both. We clearly know he suspected she was doing drugs & they both cheated.
