I have really fond memories of Slovenia from back in 1982, when still part of the former Yugoslavia. We stayed close to Triglav and wandered some nearby mountains, and then did a circular walk of Triglav staying in the mountain huts. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful it is there. Maybe i'll go back there sometime...

We spent nearly 3 wks last summer driving + camping to, around and back from Slovenia. Just awesome. We missed out on vintgar gorge due to flood damage at the time but looks amazing. Would recommend camping and travelling around, you can stay soo close to the great features and the sites we stayed at were all brilliant, fresh breads available, clean facilities, stunning views etc.

Great video. Slovenia is a hidden gem. I also did a 5 or 6-day solo trip back in 2018 (but not outdoor focused). Some of the nicest people and most beautiful sights in that country. I even managed to squeeze in a day trip to Venice, Italy which is only a 2.5 hour drive from Ljubljana.

If a fence is blocking entry, it's there for a reason!!!! I'm struggling to comprehend why you feel the need to trespass and film yourself doing so, encouraging others to follow suit, all for the sake of getting some photos or footage?!?
@GracesAdventures6 ай бұрын
I agree however I could tell it was for safety against large numbers of tourists because the path was thin and the danger would be too many people…. No other reason. It was just me there and I’m aware of my own capability so it was a risk I was happy to take. I also hate when you have to PAY to see nature and then that nature is fenced off, it goes against NATURE being open to all. Appreciate people won’t agree but I made the choice so may aswell own it 😅😊
@idk-w3k5lАй бұрын
@@GracesAdventures you pay so they can keep it clean from tourists and not destroy the beautiful nature! that’s why slovenia is one of the cleanest countries in the world 🙂

In slovene j is pronounced like your y when is inside word and when is in the end you dont pronounce it, so Bohinj you say Bohin ;) nice tour btw
Very lovely. Lovely trip. Hiking boots instead of flip flops! You've won our hearts already (we are big on hiking boots here). Great! But! Mispronouncing of the places where you've been is seriously irritating. Pro tip: say "y" instead of "j" in Slavic countries and you'll be golden allover. So for English speakers "Boheeny", not "Bohinj",; "Yasna", not "Jasna" . Have fun, I hope you are not too hot, and stay golden, pony boy!

Again, the east side of Slovenia doesn't exist. Ridiculous and predictable. Please don't take advice from all these people who go where Ljubljana tourist office sends them. They see 15% of Slovenija and, advertise it as everything there is to see. Don't be fooled.
