The extra knickers and socks debate question. For some reason I was always taught to pack like you are going to get uncontrollable food poisoning every day of your trip. My family is very paranoid though so... Great video! I would love an upscale hotel and resort honest reviews from you.

Gracie, this vlog makes me feel like taking a day off and just going to London by myself and enjoy my own company. Challenge myself to find little new things to try e.g. chocolate or beauty product (that won't be expensive) and just have a change of scenery.

I always heard that the stars mean the hotel has additional amenities. We just assume with more amenities the better it will be but its not always true. Lots of love to you Grace!

Entirely true! The stars are fairly arbitrary. It's things like having fresh flowers in the lobby, having a restaurant on site, having a gym on site, etc.

There is a pancake machine at the holiday inn in Farnborough. I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same as you mean but it’s pretty cool. Their breakfasts are insane.

Those pj’s look beautiful. Extra pants and socks a must in my book. You may be caught out by your time of the month. You might get caught in heavy rain and get wet feet. You would need shoes as well. If you are walking lots, two pairs of socks worn at the same time can help prevent or cushion blisters.

I stayed at The Corner, London city in Whitechapel and I am so sure they had the pancake machine you’re talking about! It’s also part of the travel sustainable programme which is pretty cool!

£270 for the cheapest night! Think I'll stick with Premier Inn as the room is pretty much the same and at least you can get a decent breakfast.

What lovely pajamas, Grace. Maybe you should have snuggled into that duvet until 11, and then gone breakfast hunting! Bring a few morning snacks for your next hotel, if it doesn't have food. So disappointing when they don't! I'd like to see you make a Delia Smith Christmas cake. She has several to choose from.

I love seeing KZbinrs like you because I feel like you’re so relatable! I find a lot of content so out of reach and unrealistic these days. It’s nice to see an account that doesn’t constantly contain a $1000 skincare and makeup routine at the beginning of each video (ofc I still watch those haha.) I actually did turtle fall with my sixth grade camp backpack carrying all our sandwiches!😮 I was lighter than the backpack and yet the teachers thought I should have a turn.😂 About the showering - I'm in California and most of the people and family I know shower at night. Is it a US thing?

I’m pretty sure all holiday inns have pancake machines. I’ve stayed at the Guildford one before when I went to London with my family, and that one has a pool and gym as well.

Hi Grace, I’m sure you’ll never see this, but you once posted a video, and in it, for a small clip, you showed some bath things from homesense that you said you loved….I can’t find the video (it was probably over 2 years ago) and I’ve always wanted to try whatever they were from that video but there isn’t one local to me…..well now there is!!! Please please please tell me what they were, I’d be forever grateful. I have a feeling they changed the bath colour, but I could be wrong ❤❤

I haven't finished so this might be pointless but no buffet doesn't mean no bfast, I mean just a la carte I thought...more common after covid Oops watched the rest and yeah, well maybe they had a restaurant but not open for bfast? Lol

I'm guessing because you get a kitchen area, their intention is that you make your own breakfast. Which is a nice option, but sometimes you want some sort of provided breakfast (either buffet or cook to order).

Novotel Paddington has that pancake machine 🥞 I didn't enjoy them though. Tasted like cardboard 😳🤣 but the rest of their breakfast buffet is superb!!

Chuffed is like happy/excited. "I'm so chuffed they had my favourite dessert on the menu". Faffed is either "I faffed about" - "I wasted time/had little purpose" or "faffed" can be used for "I can't be bothered" usually a polite expression instead of swearing/cussing.

Prices quoted are nearly all for standard rooms, it's nr £300 for a 1 night stay in a superior double so it's not value for money .

Ah! I have the same bag (but grey) and I never stop blabbing on about it to anyone that listens. You can also stick a long side strap on and it turns into a kinda duffel bag? Its main problem is that its huge and I overfill it, and am somehow grumpy and overtired. So I've recently developed the weak back of a pensioner and migrated onto to angry wheely suitcase lady who cant steer.
