Hi Miss Martins ❤ for the last question, i used EMF= Vint + Vext because Vext would equal the potential difference across the 5 ohm resistor. My final equation was therefore [Vext + 1.62 =20] but I get a completely different answer. Just wanted to check why this wouldn’t work?

Hi ma'am and thank you for your video, I wanted to ask why you don't use 5 ohm's but resistance in parallel instead, I'm a bit confused

Mam why did we use the total current why calculating the parallel potential difference?

Because although the current splits into each branch, the total current still flows through the entire parallel part of the circuit. I hope that makes sense 💕
