8:21 the simplest way can be Fcosx and Fsinx (x is the angle and F is the force ) sin is for vertical components and cos is for horizontal components ❤️

yes in this video, for this particular question this is true :) but it depends on if they give the angle relative to the horizontal or relative to the vertical. You do the opposite depending on where they give the angle which is why I rather teach my learners to look at the diagram and decide whether the vertical/horizontal component is opposite or adjacent to the given angle! :)
