This explains it so well, my teacher uses a TV and a camera to show the class, but she writes it while covering what she writes with the top off the hand, so you have to be a fast writer in order to write what she did when she waits a little at the end when taking notes, and i never quite get it, but this video helped me out so much, Ill come back when i pass 8th grade i'll comment it when i do. graciel landicho, the trend line in the video example is increasing. If you're having difficulty understanding this, you missed several lessons. You need to go back to fill in what you missed.

Slope formula. You must have missed some previous videos. m is slope, and is equal to the second y-value minus the first y-value, over the second x-value over the first x-value.

Well then you're really, really happy because you've got your rise over your run! A slope can be a fraction amount. If the slope is 1/4, Then the rise is 1 and the run is 4. This means the change in the y-axis increases by 1, and the change in the x-axis increases 4. Make sense?

That's kind of you to say. I basically teach Math and nothing else. This makes it easy for me to focus. Teacher's in classrooms need to worry about attendance, late or missing homework, several other subjects and those lesson plans, upset parents, upset principals, upset school boards, aside from worrying about their own family, bills, etc. I'm very glad you found my lesson and that I was helpful. :-)

JoAnn's School thanks, it’s hard because she doesn’t teach the class, she just tells us what the subject is gonna be about then gives us work without showing us/ teaching us the subject
