To one who are being confused in understanding the zones of flame. The outermost zone of candle is the non luminous zone and is the hottest zone of the flame amd theres maximum combustion and is in blue in colour. The middle potion is the luminous zone and in this area the wax is not burned completely, it is in orange -yellow colour.its moderatelu hot. The innermost zone is the dark zone there is no combustion due to lack of oxygen it is the coolest zone of flame.
