I was wondering this, thanks for sharing Is it the colors or patterns, or like amount of dye or? I was wondering how to color match the dyes to the ones he chose so they don't get muddy. I forgot Dharma dyes are labeled as cool or warm so if you get those, you can pick all cool or all warm shades which helps with that part at least. There are so many variables even with the length of rubber band lol

I’m still using too much dye. The colors get a little muddy at the transitions, and my overall brightness isn’t there. I bought the tiny needle tipped bottles (they helped a ton). My feeble hands just don’t the feel of the guy that’s made hundreds of shirts That’s just experience. Can’t teach that. Any idea why they aren’t coming out as vibrant? I use all Dharma stuff. Same colors you use. I do use Synthrapol, which is different. What is your rinse water temperature? I wonder if that might have something to do with it? I typically only make up 4oz of each color at a time. I put 4oz or warm (not hot) water, 1/2tbls urea, 1tsp of dye in a small blender and mix until there are no powder particles remaining. Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just using too much dye, which just over darkens everything? Any help would be appreciated...your stuff is badass. Thanks for making the videos.

My dumbass would have folded this up the hard way by doing cartridge pleats. Honestly I want to see a shirt in a complicated smocking pattern or something that’s been dyed. That would be beautiful
