It can both be an overpay/overrated signing for one team and a mistake for the other. The Dolphins *should* have brought them back, losing them absolutely hurts, but losing them for the contracts they signed makes the signings overrated.

@@fabiancastaneda3878Well, Fields anyway. I don't know why tf people are so terrified of speaking about it, because the Bears were pretty up front in how they sabotaged Fields in every way possible. When they didn't take him into the blue tent as soon as he started staring at open receivers they made it obvious they knew he wasn't concussed. The Only Possible Way they could have _known_ this was that he was executing the plays as called. So they _called for him_ to not throw to certain receivers on certain plays. Let me *repeat that* because it's important: the Bears _called for_ their own QB to not pass to certain receivers on certain plays. How tf can _ANY_ QB make that work? He has to scramble to get free, see an open receiver, stop scrambling, get ready to pass and then get sacked because the defense doesn't wait for him to finish reading the # on their jersey to see if he's not someone his Own Coaches told him not to pass to. No other QB in the history of the game has even been sabotaged like that. It would be one thing if they did it once then realized their mistake. the Bears stuck with this for Over A Year, from about week 5 of '22 until at least week 9 of '23. So they _knew_ it harmed the team the first time yet they did it lessee, average 2-3 times a game *that we **_saw,_* factor in a few more where none of the receivers he wasn't allowed to pass to didn't get open at all or at least not first & it's likelier 6 times a game at least almost 20 games & they called a play they knew harmed the team at least 75 times. Then there's the o-line. Russ on the other hand had a guy who schemed a shorter QB than him to become the best % passer in the history of the game & refused to work with him. It's either because he didn't want to, or because he can't. Which makes him a good QB? Neither. I fully expect Fields to be the starter, but even then, they will have possibly The Worst receiving corps. Pickens is a great #2 receiver, not a #1 though.

They gave the Panthers the same grade as the cowboys when the Panthers got major upgrades at WR and OL when the Cowboys lost a star CB,Linemen,RB for a decent veteran LB and their LS

I understand Washington didn't do "splash" signings, but they did sign solid players like Chinn, Luvu, Wagner, etc that are definite upgrades to what was here, and as important, fit the planned schemes. Also with 6 picks in top 102, there will be serious upgrades at QB, T, CB, and TE. I will be interested in the post-draft grade of each team. Our team was maybe one level up from an expansion team last year, and the coordinators didn't do us any favors, let alone "GM" Ron Rivera for years, who checked out as HC sometime in 2022 season; I mean he didn't know playing the Cleveland Browns was deciding if we made the playoffs, and it showed, as well as the backup QB had to tell him to play Howell for the last game that year to see what we had in our new QB.

I really feel like the Patriots got a higher grade than they deserve, but honestly, I feel they can still make more moves before the draft. Get a premium wide receiver as their bona-fide WR1, trade down for additional draft capital, and get a couple more veteran deals done so that they can at least make an improvement from a disappointing 2023 season

The Vikings got a D+ SMH, they upgraded running back, upgraded DB's, upgraded kicker, upgraded the D-line, upgraded LB, lost soon to be 36 year old Cousins comng off a major injury who everbody has criticized for years as not a big time QB that Atlanta signed for $180 million , and they lost Hunter a 30 year old DE.

I’m impressed that the Patriots got graded at a B with how weird and overly critical the grades were. The Chiefs shouldn’t get an A- for their limited moves, just like how the Bears got severely undervalued when they have the first pick in the draft. How did the Patriots get the perfect balance of insight here then? This is coming from a lifelong Patriots fan, I was expecting something like a D+ because we didn’t make any major moves, but the off-season makes sense given that we need most positions and don’t know who will be the future at QB. Overpaying for Calvin Ridley or other band-aids wouldn’t have solved anything, so when Tee Higgins and Pittman Jr got tagged I was hoping we wouldn’t make a major receiver signing.
