Dean Burmester is better than people think! Just a word on Louis Oosthuizen: He is just giving the Majors a huge middle finger at this stage. Being a South African I completely understand him being dismissive of them but on the other hand, it is a bit selfish when looking at the bigger picture where LIV would like to force the hands of the Majors with invites for LIV golfers....

Louie had the graduation of his kid the weekend of the PGA, that’s why he turned down the invite. otherwise i believe he would have gone. love to hear from the South African fans! Dean is amazing. we spent a few mins with him last year at bedminster! thanks for watching. don’t forget to subscribe and share the videos on your social media so we can get more Stinger GC fans in the conversation!

@@54_Golf Since I got a reply from you, maybe have a look at the following and comment on: Jay, the OWGR, Tiger, Spieth, Cantlay and others should stop overestimating their own importance in golf for starters. What type of "deal" is there to be made...there's no "deal" to be made. The PGA expects PIF to pay them but the PGA is in the weaker position compared to LIV. Should PIF pay the PGA so the latter can attempt to regain the monopoly they had...? Maybe it's time people start thinking like adults and see things as they are and not what they wish it to be. Tours should stay separate and it's up to each tour to make its tour better to retain or attract golfers to it. The PGA has to realize that America is not the center of the world...there are more golfers and golf fans in the rest of the world than in America...the monopoly they had is over! The PGA is an American tour and geared towards American audiences, and the rest of the world had to accept that. LIV is an international tour and the world is its target market...it's America's turn to get up early or stay up late to follow tournaments. - LIV golfers have contracts. They can't just up and leave. If Golfer A got $100 mil for a 5-year contract and has only played 1 year, will he really pay back $80 mil to go play on the weakened PGA tour? Be serious... - The tours have different formats and LIV has a team element. - PGA made its bed when they accepted the SSG deal. How can anybody even expect Yasir to invest his "blood money" (what they called the PIF money) into PGA when LIV Golf is treated as it is? You can't have your bread buttered on both sides...PGA golfers made the decision to stay on PGA and now they should live with the consequences (and less money) or try to get a contract with LIV...easy as pie. - PGA has realized that their product is weaker without the top golfers that went to LIV. PGA has fewer viewers now. PGA won't be able to negotiate the same type of deals with advertisers, sponsors, and TV bosses now with those golfers not on their tour anymore. So they should also maybe start to accept that their role has diminished and beggars can't be choosers. The PGA needs LIV golfers....LIV doesn't need the PGA, LIV golfers just want to play in Majors. - LIV golfers can't just go and play on PGA events and the same goes for PGA golfers on LIV. The only thing in my mind that can happen is if the PGA and LIV negotiate events to be added in which the golfers from different tours can compete against each other. LIV golfers will not sign up to go play 30+ weeks in a year again...just saying Suggestion on How: The Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup rotate every year. So I would suggest scrapping the Presidents Cup but not the team. Then you are left with the USA team, the European team, and the Presidents Cup team. Add a LIV team and the 4 teams can play against each other in a Ryder Cup-type tournament in a Round Robin tournament at the end of every year to determine the winner. That would get enough viewers and push ratings. - Maybe PIF can start a new European Tour and attempt to make it as good as it was back in the 80's and 90's...independent from the PGA! - And lastly, the Majors should look at their criteria for invites. If the Majors can at least appear to be independent from PGA as they are supposed to be, and they invite the top 20/25 LIV golfers (excluding those with Major exemptions), the LIV fans might start supporting the majors again and this hate between the tours can start subsiding. The different tours should also have their own ranking system just like the PGA has the OWGR...and the Majors can use the tour's ranking to decide who they invite.

@@calross7143 a very well thought out plan and opinion! love to hear from those who are excited for a global game. the one problem with staying separate, as you mentioned, is they will only make each other weaker, or LIV just signs all of the best PGAT personalities and the Tour ceases to exist. PIF wants to be the largest investor in the PGAT. the only thing stopping that is Tiger Woods. anything else you hear from the media is window dressing to protect Tiger. it will be his greed that makes this process hard. golf needs a total restructure and until Tiger gets whatever it is he wants, he will continue to play chicken with PIF and they will not budge. so unless all of a sudden he is humbled, the Tour will continue to fail.

@@54_Golf I agree with you on the Tiger thing. Tiger (a has-been) is all in for himself at the moment, but I think Spieth (another has-been) and Cantlay (a wannabe) are just as guilty. But I don't agree with you that it will make the tours weaker if they stay separate. I have been making that comment for around a year now and I was glad to see Padraig Harrington also saying the same thing recently in an interview after the PGA Champs. The European tour was strong in the 80's and 90's with many of the top golfers in the world playing on it. And those top players went over to America to play a few tournaments but were mainly stationed in Europe. Then the PGA basically "captured" golf and those golfers had to play in America! And what happened eventually is very evident in the useless DP Tour we have today. By having more tours that are strong, you create a rivalry between the tours and players on the occasions they get to play in the same tournaments...making golf strong and interesting. And that is one of the big reasons why the Ryder Cup is so popular and well-supported. I don't expect you (American) to agree with my next point but golf is a world sport, not an American sport like NBA or NFL. There are more golfers and golf fans in the rest of the world than in America. So why does golf have to be by and for the PGA (America)...? Why do the rest of the world either miss tournaments because of time difference, or stay up till way after midnight to follow tournaments played in America, but Americans don't have that problem...and it only becomes an issue when it's the Americans complain about the time difference of big tournaments played internationally (even LIV tournaments). I'm not the only LIV fan getting pissed off because of the many LIV Events being played in America! LIV is supposed to "grow the game internationally" but then they go and play basically half of the events in America! Why not tournaments in South Africa, China, Japan, France etc...?

@@calross7143 appreciate your love for golf outside of the US. i watched the entire European Open this week so you might be surprised as to how much i want events everywhere. that includes america. now, to expand on “weaker”. any delay by Tiger and the minions will make the PGA Tour weaker, not golf. golf is thriving. LIV is part of that. they played in Hong Kong. they played on four continents lol that only leaves South America and Africa. which both will see LIV events in the next two years. but you have to understand how golf markets work. those places can’t (YET) support multiple professional events. but in the future LIV will expand and create new markets. patience is required to do it right. LIV knows that.
