As a Cowboys fan I remember all the players being mocked to them, Green, Zion, Burks etc. Then they make what was called a “reach” to pick Tyler!😂 I remember his first presser and thinking that this young man was going to be very good! He has instead been even better! Great content and I feel the grades are spot on! Also this proves that a draft class should NEVER be evaluated till after season three!

As a vikings fan, this draft still pisses me off hamilton literally had all the inklings to be the Hitman's replacement same school, attitude, stats and the fact that the guy literally looked up to smith. But alas kwesi went for them "value picks" which obviously didnt work out literally 90% of his 2022 draft class is gone . Sure this seasons free agent pickups were great but imagine adding hamilton or mcduffie to that defense :(

Elam is an interesting case because buffalo picked him largely due to how smart the guy is when it comes to the game, which may not seem that important but the bills defense is extremely difficult for new guys to just slot into. Ultimately the reason why he has not worked out has been not because of his skills, but more because the bills play mainly zone defense, which he jusr doesnt work well in

Saw a lot of Hutch and Kayvon back and forth at 1 until Feb/March, which from that point forth for the next 2 months was basically strictly Walker, and that lines up with the combine.

@ I completely agree. I would still say it was objectively a bad pick when essentially everyone from professional scouts to casual viewers saw hutch as the better player and a true game changer. Travon is good but doesnt effect the game like hutch or even his counterpart in Hines-Allen (who’d i’d actually argue significantly helps travon rack up “sacks”), but baalke fell for the size and athleticism yet again over tape and technique. Its one of his biggest criticisms and certainly an issue hes failed to properly address, leaving his team in its current situation
