Honestly speaking he was indeed a quality player. The Prem just wasn't for him. It was too physical and he always got injured. He never got the chance to build up a good rhythm or settle into the team. Not to mention he was replacing Xabi fxcking Alonso, one of our greatest midfielders of the Premier League era. If you asked me for a LFC Premiership XI right now, Xabi makes the team alongside Stevie. So yeah, he was under pressure and had a lot of hopes pinned on him to replicate what Xabi did, but they weren't even similar players at all. Alberto would've been a better CAM than a CDM.

It might seem reasonable but that's actually a record breaking singing in the clubs history. Fenerbahçe wants to make sure Jose doesn't have the same issues he had at spurs and Roma where he didn't get enough backing. Emery usually gets the best out of strikers, just look at how much Watkins has improved since he joined. Felix should suit the 4-4-2 formation Emery uses. At other clubs he's often been shoehorned into the team as not many play 2 up top but that wouldn't be the case at Villa. I think the move makes sense.

Hey Irish guy. Sporting Clube de Portugal’s fan here. Quite cheeky to wonder how SCP weren’t champions with Palhinha, Ugarte and M. Nunes in midfield… NOW they would be a terrifying midfield trio for any team in the world… but they were together there 3 years ago (and hey, check their ages and calculate…). Btw, Ugarte was brought in totally unknown, as an understudy to Palhinha - who was great then but has since exploded! - while M. Nunes was even more anonymous (and younger than Ugarte), with quite a few more experienced midfielders ahead of him in the packing order. Sporting is a selling club (any portuguese club is forced to be), so it’s actually brilliant business to replace Palhinha by Ugarte, and then him by Hujlmand, who will be club captain next year and (unfortunately for us!) will likely not stay in Portugal for very long cause actually he’s been better than both Palhinha and Ugarte! Of course this is not how your channel works, but anyway, here’s a bit of context for you 😉

Everton fan here: I have a mate who watches Napoli a lot and says that Lindstrom didn't really get much opportunity. But he did say that whenever he had a decent number of minutes he still wasn't great. I mean, Napoli is very different to Frankfurt, as Everton will be to them, so you never know. But based off of what he says it's not something I can say I'm massively excited for, but I'll still get behind the guy whenever I can!

You know who Calafiori is for Arsenal? He's Nathan Ake. He's the guy you play based on matchups and squad rotation. He's the defender with fancy feet. If he manages to unseat Gabriel Magalhães as first-choice left CB, he's gotta be the real deal. Gabriel was outrageously good last season. And if not, if he gets Year 1 Gvardiol minutes, he cost about half of what Josko did at any rate.

As a West Brom Fan BTA isn't a Striker he is a winger but we played him as our main striker as our other options were injuried 11 goals Wasn't bad for him considering we signed him from Salford not even on a Punt but because at the time Steve Bruce's son said we should sign him.
