I think I did about 30 pieces same amount as my dollar bill, but you can put as many or as little as you want 😄

Thank you for this I just made it for my sons 5th grade graduation but girl it took me WAY longer than an hour and a half ! Good news no paper cuts so worth it . LOVE it now i need to make another one for my Kinder grad :-o i might wait a day THANKS again I found glue dots are AWESOME and have a good hold and can't see them just an FYI

I found a lot at Michaels in different sizes. They also had them at the Dollar tree. They work great and held up.

Save yourself some time and place tie dollar on the string first then tape the dollars ends.

it took me 6.5 hours from start to finish btw...but yeas after folding it did take about 1.5hours.

Christina h guzmam yes folding papers takes so much time. Try ask a family member or friends to help you fold. Or you can use fake flowers as filler to save you some time.

Sorry for the late reply. It depends how much money you want to put in the lei. In this video I made $30, so that plus the materials and labor would be around $36.
