Rudy in his previous life was getting bullied by his schoolmate which in turn scarred him and make him a hikikomori. His siblings try to help him but after getting rejected over and over they eventually gave up on him. This in turn makes Rudeus gave up on both his family and himself, while slowly turning into a degenerate (Him watching some underage material on 1st episode for example). This peaked when his parent's died and he didn't even bother to go to their funeral. (Hence why his siblings beat him up and then kicking him out of their parent's house)

Let me add from Manga for these scenes. 1. He was bullied from Highschool to Age 43. he became neet and had trauma going outside 2. He said he never tried back on earth but this time I will try harder 3. His parents are dead and he did not go to the funeral because of PTSD also he gave up and only stay in the house jerking off. 4. His younger sibling kick him out of the house due to not attending the funeral 5. He saw 3 students that will be hit by truck kun. he saved one see episode 1 being interviewed. can't believe I saved a normie - rudy 6. In episode 1 notice that the reporter said the other 2 are missing. just hold that thought throughout the story. 7. 5 years from episode 2 he will learn that Roxy is the same age as him on earth. 8. The Graduation exam should be to create a cumulonimbus that will last for an hour. 9. He failed on the first attempt. Why? because after he summons the clouds it disperses if he did not constantly feed it mana. Next is he would not be able to raise his wand for an hour. 10. He passed by applying earth science to something like a vortex and cold and hot winds. The Storm was bigger and self-efficient in that it feeds itself no need for constant mana. Roxy called Rudy to turn it off and that he passed even without an hour. 11. They did not animate very wet Smiling Roxy. Shame it feels like in the anime that she is wearing some water-resistant clothes. 12. Roxy praise him and his heart tingled. so it was the first time since he was praised. I really respect this little kid - rudy 13. Roxy felt inferior so she decided to go and adventure. That is why do not call me Master scene. 14. Rudy just founded a religion and obtained a holy artifact.

Man, watching the second episode convinced me to go ahead with the novels, and damn! It is good! The rain storm he had to do, he used his Earth science knowledge to make/move the clouds and temperatures so that his storm will last the hour required by Roxy. She saw that and ended the test immediately since he could clearly do it. Also, the Divine Artifact(the unwashed panties from Roxy) come up more than a couple times. ;)

Rudy shows how much potential he has, and Roxy begins to feel her limits. this isekai teaches you that when you get isekai'd as a kid, use up ALL your MP daily so you can become OP'd. dont worry, Roxy is VERY important to Rudy's story. lol @his sacred Roxy panty. :D hopefully this anime stays popular(this is just a looooooooong light novel series. they are on book 23, and this is like maybe around chapter3) having read this part long ago, i dont think they will skip ahead(w/o doing a spoiler, theres a LOT that happens when he was a kid still to go)
