I am so in love with Sand in my Boots. It is such a simple song, but very powerful with just Morgan Wallen and the piano. When it is all said and done, Miranda Lambert will have etched her name as one of the most influential female country stars of all time. She never allows herself to become stale in her song writing.

I gotta add “To Be Loved By You” by Parker McCollum to my top 10. It was a co-write with Thomas Rhett, and it really showcases how good of a songwriter Parker is. Call me a Parker McCollum stan all you want, but he’s gonna be a breakthrough huge mainstream artist in a year or two.

Having been to a Lee Brice concert, he really did seem to have a passionate crowd singing their hearts out with them. It could’ve just been that everyone knows his hits and may not be as crazy about him specifically, but the crowd was into it the whole time. I know my mom and I have both been huge fans since Love Like Crazy and I Don’t Dance. I personally thought he was a really authentic entertainer and I think he may have an underrated fan base.

Lee Brice is the kind of singer who you love but don’t realize you love until you sit down and try to make a list like this. He doesn’t have any sort of distinct personality/identity that would distinguish him from any random generic male country singer, so he slips under everyone’s radar. The only thing unique about him is that his songs are subtly amazing

Does anyone else realize that Whiskey and Rain and Carly Pearce's album is about the same divorce? And Carly's album is about how she left because he drank too much, but Micheal's song is about drinking too much because she left him.

I'm pretty new to country music, just recently i moved to a different part of the country where the radio in the shop i work in only gets one station. sometimes i just get so annoyed of hearing the same songs, even if they're great, all day on a loop haha. a lot of days ill sit out in my truck at lunch and come back to your channel because i can always find something new to add to my playlist to break the repetition. just wanted to say thank you Grady for all that you do, you genuinely contribute to improving my day all the time

The thing you'll notice very quickly about country radio is that songs stay on the playlist for a long, long time. I started hearing "Half of My Hometown" in early summer and it's only now peaking in airplay. Some songs take nearly a year to peak. If you love a lot of songs, that's great, but the ones you're not crazy about can burn out pretty quickly.

Love your content man!! I watch every video. Although, I don’t put too much into the “Hot Country Songs” chart, because that chart is coming from the main Billboard Hot 100, which is an all genre chart. I more look at the Country Airplay Chart bc that one is strictly coming from the main country radio. I consider them to be the only real ranking of the country charts. That’s why you have your occasional oddball in the “Songs” chart

I've said for a long time that history will be really kind to Lee Brice. He's not really thought of among the biggest country stars of the modern era, but he may have the most all-time classic hits. I Drive Your Truck, I Don't Dance, Love Like Crazy, and A Woman Like You will be played every single day across all the classic country stations fifteen years from now. Then songs like Memory I Don't Mess With, Rumor, and Drinking Class will be thrown in there every once in a while, not to mention the duet with Carly Pearce.

Great list, and fun explanations. Was waiting for Sand In My Boots! That was a favorite this year. I'm sad Brian Kelley didn't get anything in the top 100 off his album, specifically "Savanna," or that may have been my number one choice. BTW - Future video idea and something I've spent a lot of time thinking about. Where do you stand on the whole Beach Country / Tropical Rock scene? Kenny Chesney, a lot Toby Keith's recent work, Zac Brown, Jake Owen, Bryan Kelley, Jimmy Buffett, etc... could be a fun video. Especially since nearly every major country artist inevitably attempts to have at least one troprock song at one time or another.

Speaking of I Hope You’re Happy Now, both Carly Pearce and Lee Brice have been really growing on me recently. They of course both sound great on that duet and then some of Lee’s solo stuff you mentioned in the video plus Boy are all great. I wasn’t necessarily the biggest fan of Carly’s earlier stuff, but the 29 EP and then the full album are both incredible. A lot of very good songs on there, but 29 and Never Wanted to Be That Girl are the two biggest standouts for me.

I think my list would be 1. Somebody Like That-Tenille Arts 2. My Boy-Elvie Shane 3. You Should Probably Leave-Chris Stapleton 4. Things a Man Oughta Know-Lainey Wilson 5. Made For You-Jake Owen 6. Memory I Don’t Mess With-Lee Brice 7. Better Together-Luke Combs 8. Just About Over You-Priscilla Block 9. Hell of a View-Eric Church 10. Sand in My Boots-Morgan Wallen HMs -Forever After All-Luke Combs -Chasing After You-Ryan Hurd & Maren Morris -Famous Friends-Chris Young & Kane Brown -Settling Down-Miranda Lambert -Tequila Little Time-Jon Pardi -Hole in the Bottle-Kelsea Ballerini -Half of My Hometown-Kelsea Ballerini ft. Kenny Chesney -Freedom Was a Highway-Jimmy Allen & Brad Paisley -Next Girl-Carly Pearce -Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)-Elle King & Miranda Lambert -Wasted On You-Morgan Wallen For a year in country that garnered such a bad reputation, I found myself still liking/loving a ton of songs. Not saying the reputation wasn’t deserved because there are definitely some awful songs on that list, but don’t discount how many great songs were still there

I'd like to see a top 10 "Songs that aren't singles", I feel like there are lots of awesome songs that get ignored because their album already had too many singles, or they don't get made into singles for some reason.

Really solid list. Glad to see Whiskey and Rain get some love-it’s a banger. The only revisions I would make is move Things a man ought to know up higher. I’d also take Buy Dirt off. It’s a decent song, but I find the “Be good and do good things” narrative sort of boring and pandering, and I don’t think Buy Dirt has any super interesting or unique lyrics or ideas. I think there’s better ways to say be a good person without naming off several country cliches. Love the video like always Grady

Lee Brice is on fire right now and nobody is even realizing it. The fact that didn’t even receive a nomination at the CMA’s was extremely disappointing.

I would have loved if you had put the Top 10 and honorable mentions in writing in the intro for permanency or for those who don't have time for the full video. Still thanks for all the choices.

Grady, I ordered your puzzle. I was so excited to receive it because it had all my favorite country stars incorporated into it. I can’t find the order number or the confirmation email as of right now because I ordered it back in November. It has not arrived and I have lost any hope that it will. I will continue to comment this on all your videos until I can get an answer.
